Hound Spa Mobile Dog & Cat Grooming

DO NOT USE HOUND SPA if you love your animals. I used their services between late 2022-2023, in a desperate pinch. My two older dogs ( a German Shepherd and a Shiba/ Husky mix)would shake when they would see Jonny, but I thought that they were overreacting at first. Upon seeing Jonny , I couldn't help but feel a strange / bad vibe . He wasn't friendly and wouldn't take instruction. Still, I used their services into early 2023. It was then that I had the last straw. My third dog , a young Shiba Inu started to shake each time he would see Jonny. One time he escaped from the van, eventually I caught him. I told Jonny that I would make sure to tell Deb about his irresponsibility and suggest she hire someone new ! I then complained to Deb about that incident and suggested he should be fired. She did not reply. In fact, anytime I had concerns she would brush them over. Curiously those texts disappeared off my phone and she seems to have closed that account! The fact that she was using the parking lot of Northwind Kennel -whose owner just got arrested two weeks ago for animal cruelty -is no coincidence. They are probably both in collusion. STAY AWAY from HOUND SPA. If I could leave a -1 Star review, I would. PS: To those who leave a good review : how much are you being paid for it ? What are you getting out of it , because unless you are a careless pet owner , you’d be blind to the the reality of the treatment given during grooming

Since moving to Katonah three years ago and having my dogs mobile groomed previously as well, working with Deborah and Jonny has been fabulous. Deb has been accommodating since day one and had no problem accommodating both my dogs( Brady joined our family in 2021) in one appointment. Whenever I had a concern which was maybe once or twice in three years, it was addressed to my complete satisfaction. The negative remarks DONT BELIEVE. I certainly don’t. Affordable good work and people who love animals . Brady and Rollins WOOF in agreement

Horrible experiences! I am never one to post or write reviews but I am making an exception. Groomer Jonny is constantly disgruntled and not friendly (to both people and dogs). Poor pup has been left traumatized just seeing the van and now flinches just touching her front paws which was never an issue before. After every grooming the pup now gets diarrhea from the stress and even itches themself raw which has me questioning grooming tool sanitation. Just the mere sight of a hair dryer now stresses the dog out and creates tummy issues. All desensitization training has been replaced by trauma. This absolute last visit... Jonny came in the home, mishandled the puppy (in front of several witnesses) in such a horrific manner the pup peed as he grabbed them! LAST TIME. NEVER AGAIN! Can only imagine the treatment being done inside the closed van. It should also be mentioned how badly some of the trimming is too. So often certain strands of fur are missed, uneven clippings around ears/mouth, and beautiful lashes cut way too short! Some "relaxing spa" if the animal who should be loving a "spa treatment" is absolutely petrified of the entire experience! The company mission is to "have a genuine commitment to care for each and every dog, just like we would want another to care for ours". Well, I am genuinely concerned for the well-being of their own dogs if this is the treatment they are receiving. If I could put 0 stars I would but it's the only way to post this. I highly DO NOT recommend them for the sake and love of your pets. JUST DON'T.

I was searching for a reliable, affordable and professional mobile grooming service. I have an older dog and needed a service to come to the home. Deborah the owner is fantastic. She responded quickly and sent someone out in a timely manner. The groomer, Jonny was great with my dog and groomed her beautifully. Fantastic find!

Deborah and Jonny are amazing. The pets have a grand time, Gracie looks amazing and our cat Freddy does too. Highly recommend!
