General

How does mobile pet care work?

The provider comes to you. Mobile groomers work from a fully equipped van parked at your home. Mobile vets examine your pet inside your home or in a clinic van. You book directly with the provider, usually by phone or on their website.

What areas do mobile pet providers cover?

Most providers work within 10 to 25 miles of their base. Search your city on Mobile Pet Hub to see who lists an address nearby, then confirm your address is in their service area when you call.

Are mobile pet providers licensed and insured?

Veterinarians must be licensed by your state veterinary board, which you can verify online. Groomers are not licensed in most states, so ask about certifications, experience and liability insurance before booking.

How are providers ranked on Mobile Pet Hub?

Listings are ordered by Google rating weighted by review count, so a 4.9 from 300 reviews ranks above a 5.0 from 2 reviews. Providers cannot pay for placement.

How do I add or update my business?

Use the contact form on our Contact page and include your business name, address, phone and website. We review every request and usually update listings within a few days.

Mobile grooming

How much does mobile dog grooming cost in your area?

Most mobile groomers in your area charge between $75 and $150 for a full groom on a small or medium dog, and more for large or double-coated breeds. Prices usually run 20 to 40 percent above a salon because you get one-on-one service at your door. Ask each groomer about travel fees and multi-pet discounts.

Do mobile groomers need my water or electricity?

Most do not. Modern grooming vans carry their own fresh-water tank, water heater and generator, so all they need is a legal place to park close to your door.

How long does a mobile grooming appointment take?

Plan on 60 to 90 minutes for one dog, depending on coat type and size. Because there is no waiting in a kennel, your pet is only in the van for the actual groom.

Can mobile groomers handle anxious or senior pets?

Yes, and it is one of the best reasons to book one. One groomer, one pet and no other animals around makes the visit calmer for nervous, elderly or reactive pets. Mention any health or behavior issues when you book.

Mobile vets

How much does a mobile vet cost in your area?

A house-call exam in your area typically costs $100 to $200 for the visit, plus the cost of any vaccines, tests or treatment. Many mobile vets charge one house-call fee per household, so additional pets cost less.

What can a mobile vet do at home?

Most mobile vets handle wellness exams, vaccines, microchips, blood draws, minor illnesses, senior care and in-home euthanasia. Surgery, X-rays and emergencies usually still need a full-service clinic, and a good mobile vet will refer you when that is the case.

Is a mobile vet good for cats?

Yes. Many cats hide or become stressed in carriers and clinics, which can raise heart rate and even blood sugar readings. An exam at home is calmer and often gives a more accurate picture of their health.

Do mobile vets offer in-home euthanasia?

Many do. Saying goodbye at home lets your pet stay somewhere familiar with family nearby. Call ahead, because these appointments are often scheduled with extra time and aftercare options.

In-home dog training

Is in-home dog training better than group classes?

For many dogs, yes. Training at home targets the exact situations where problems happen and gives you one-on-one coaching. Group classes are cheaper and help with socialization, so some owners combine the two.

How much does in-home dog training cost?

Private in-home sessions usually cost $75 to $150 per hour, and many trainers sell packages of four to six sessions at a discount.
