I brought my chihauhau, Papi, in on Christmas Eve with an extensive eye injury. The staff acted quickly and compassionately when I arrived and kept in constant communication with me during the entire process. The vet went over all of my options thoroughly and was very reassuring. When I was able to pick Papi up the technician went over in great detail all of the post op care and meds that would be needed over the next 2 weeks and sent me home with printed information as well. At the 2 week recheck stitches were removed and we were again treated compassionately and quickly and the staff genuinely cared about Papi and his recovery. The final recheck was 10 days later and Papi's eye looked amazing... after 24 days in an E-collar we were finally given the ok to remove it! Thank you PAW Health Network for taking amazing care of my Papi 🐾
We've gone there with two dogs over the years and thought Paws were perfect! 5 stars!! But....... Tonight, it would be nice if there answering machine/ website would have said they had no vets in for the evening. So that customer(s) did not have to drive there to find out the news. Real time info on Paws website would be nice, it is 2025 after all.
This is (unfortunately) my second experience with Paw Health. Both times they were so very cautious, caring, and helpful! Dr Heather was absolutely amazing and was able to allay my fears and ensure that my pet was heading in the right direction with his specific illness! I will forever be grateful for her and the entire staff!
We had to bring our cat in after a freak accident where he got his toes stuck in the shower drain cap after all our local vets closed. They were kind on the phone and we drove over an hour with our cat. The front desk workers were nice, handed us paperwork to fill out (I’ve seen reviews that it was too much, I felt it was fine given that it’s an emergency vet that has never seen us or our cat before). They quickly took him back, we weren’t allowed back with him which was completely expected because again, emergency vet. I can’t imagine how much more stressful their jobs would be with all the pet parents back there and with them. They ran everything past us with quotes before doing anything. They were able to get the cap off and all his toes were fine. They said he was a good boy and genuinely seemed to like this cat they’ve never met. Our bill was likely higher than it would have been if we had gone to our local vet during operating hours, but I felt that was also to be expected because it’s an emergency service. They have to pay to staff this facility 24 hours a day so I was more than happy to pay for the procedure AND the 24 hour convenience. I hope I never have to go back, since we have a local vet, but I am so glad that they are open and put in the work to be a 24 hour facility so they are there if we need them. Our cat is happy, healthy, and has all his toes so we are thankful for this facility.
My chiweenie had a rectal Prolapse and I couldn’t find anyone in the Appleton/Oshkosh area to do the surgery. One of the vets told me about this place and I tell you it was worth the hour drive. The entire staff was very professional, very compassionate and I truly felt comfortable. Being a 24 hour vet I thought the prices would be horrible but they beat any price I’ve ever paid at the hospital in the Appleton area. Through the front door in Appleton would have been $180- they were only $96. They were very direct and gave me two options to treat. Told me my price and let me make the decision on what I wanted done. They were very thorough in explaining the procedures and what they recommended. They did not try to force additional treatment. They even trimmed his nails. Took him back to remove the stitches and surprisingly he walked right thought the front door. He usually pulls to leave our regular vet. They carried him right out to the car as if he was their own dog. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone asking for an emergency vet! It’s also a very clean and nice facility.
