I don’t know what happened with us… But my poor sweet miss Ophelia Stardust has terminal cancer. i have been deeply disappointed and frustrated with the way my dog and I have been treated at this clinic. Dr. Renner informed me that my dog had one to three months to live without treatment and possibly six months with chemotherapy. After taking one day to weigh my options, I called early Wednesday morning to proceed with the oral treatment. When I received no response, I followed up with a text message. the oncology coordinator, replied to inform me that the doctor was unavailable but would relay the message and notify me when the prescription was ready. By the afternoon, having heard nothing, I called and texted again. I was curtly reminded that the doctor was not in and that I wouldn’t hear back until the next day. These exchanges were unhelpful and dismissive, especially given the urgency of the situation—when a pet has a terminal diagnosis, every day matters. Feeling ignored, I reached out again and eventually spoke to a receptionist, who connected me with an oncology technician. The technician was sweet and assured me that the prescription could be ready within two hours, which left me wondering why this couldn’t have been arranged sooner. Two hours later, I picked up the chemotherapy medication, but the experience was no better. the oncology coordinator again responded rudely and redirected me to the front desk, despite prior instructions to contact her. The front desk handed me the medication with no guidance other than to “wear gloves and be careful.” I received no instructions on administering the medication, no information on potential side effects, and no follow-up communication to check on my dog’s progress after the first dose. Since my initial consultation with Dr. Renner—a 20-minute, $300 appointment—I have had no direct communication with her. The lack of compassion, clarity, and follow-up during such a critical and emotional time has been profoundly upsetting. This experience has caused immense stress for my family and me as we navigate this heartbreaking situation with no guidance. this all happened over a weekend and today is Monday and there has still been no follow up at all whatsoever. We have not heard from anyone at the clinic, except to assure me that my records have been transferred upon my request. not to mention four days later, my dog is still having shivers and cannot walk or eat … I was extremely hesitant about giving chemotherapy to my dog, and now I regret it 100% ophelia was put to rest on December 11th.

Thank you for saving our dog Dexter! This have been an epic month. Brought him in at 2am thinking he was gone. Quick reaction by Critical Care team to determine the problem and revive him, then they worked throughout the day to get him stable enough for surgery at 2pm to remove a ruptured mass on his spleen. Long week in ICU, now recovering at home and our boy is doing well! Working with CVRC Oncology on the long term care. Vets, Techs, Nurses, Surgeons, Reception, schedulers.....I can't say enough. All professional, knowledgeable and caring! Thank you so much!!

“I can’t say enough about CVRC. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and professional. Dr. Siegel and the entire team showed incredible compassion towards my pet, taking the time to explain every step of the process and ensuring we felt comfortable. Their dedication to providing thorough care, while maintaining a calm and loving environment, made a huge difference. It’s clear they truly care about their patients, treating each one as if it were their own. Highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for exceptional and compassionate veterinary care!”

I wish I could give them 10 stars... I would . I can't thank you enough for being so kind and patient with me during my fluffys time of need. You walked me through everything and kept me up to date with everything. You allowed me to visit,no matter what time of day it was I popped in to see him. It is so sad to see someone come in there and have to make a decision to euthanize due to inability to pay. Ur willingness to assist in the insurance claim process and just ur over all willingness to take the best care of him . We are nearly 3 months post surgery and he couldn't be happier. Just seeing him everyday makes my day a blessing . So thank you for loving my baby and caring for him .. thanks for even coming through when in a rush to leave on a trip I forgot his meds and had to call u at 3 am panicking .. I love what you do and I am forever grateful for you for saving my baby. Fluffy and I say thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💕💕💕!

I had the best possible experience at this location during a terrible circumstance. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My cat was seen immediately and able to have surgery shortly after. It took only 5 hours between dropoff to surgery to a hour of monitoring and then release. They immediately put my cat on medications to minimize pain while we figured out an action plan. The patience and empathy of the staff is truly amazing. They gave me many cost effective options and recommendations. My cat is healing well at home and I am so lucky to have a great emergency vet available in the area!
