My husband and I said goodbye to our bunny Moose recently, and we are so grateful to the staff here for supporting us during that time. The vet was very knowledgeable and was willing to do everything she could to save him. Moose ultimately passed, but that was not due to lack of effort by our vet. She was so compassionate while also being straightforward with us about the problem and his chance of survival had we gone forward with surgery. I would recommend them to anyone!

My sweet Kona crossed the rainbow bridge on 9/14/24 at the NC State ER. I had planned for her to pass peacefully at home, but unfortunately her condition progressed quickly and I realized that wasn't an option. NC State vet ER was amazing helping to get her in right away, assessing her and guiding me on options. I wanted to say thank you to the amazing vet that helped me through the worst experience of my life. I really didn't want to be alone, but it happened in the middle of the night and all of my friends were sleeping. The vet stayed with me and helped me feel less alone. She was truly the kindest most compassionate vet and I will never forget how she cared for Kona and helped me through her final moments. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help. Kona was the sweetest girl and deserved the best care. I am so grateful that she was able to get the best passing possible given the circumstances.

Update from 5/20/2024 State has continued to do such a wonderful job with my pup Evie as she must receive monthly treatments to stay healthy. We are so incredibly grateful for all they have done for us! So thankful for the emergency and internal medicine team at NC State. After being told nothing was wrong with Evie from other vets I am so glad I trusted my gut and took her to State. Come to find out Evie has Addisons disease and that has caused all of her symptoms and can be deadly if left untreated. Thank you again🤍🐾

When our cat was experiencing significant pain we knew we had to bring him to the hospital. We were met with a quailified team of professionals, and they really helped us with the process of getting treatment and answers. I advise getting pet insurance early with your pets. Fortunately we already had it and it made the financial part of treatment much more affordable for us.

Almost four hours and no other patients waiting no update. Receptionist tried to find out an update from the Dr. Dannemiller and he was missing. I wish the service was according to the fee. Terrible experience. Not showing any compassion for the pets, very sad.
