I was very impressed with the compassion and care I received from Heartstrings! I am a RN. I was not sure if my 16 year old Pekingese needed hospice care or it was time to say goodbye. Dr. Ledain was professional and very compassionate to me , my other dog and my sweet Lilly. She sat on the floor beside Lilly in her bed. She told me that I was giving Lilly a gift because it was time. Lilly went over the rainbow bridge peacefully at home. I highly recommend Heartstrings!❤️

I can not say enough great things about using Heartstrings Pet Hospice for our dogs last day. Dr. Ledain was patient, compassionate and took the time to explain everything and ensure I was ready. It made a hard decision easier on my dog and myself. I would highly recommend them to anyone!! Thank you all so much!!

Heartstrings & Dr. Ledain did an amazing job helping our family through a very difficult time in our lives. Our boy Doobie was the best dog ever and a very cherished member of our family. He had been with me since he was a month old and for 14 years never left my side. I miss him greatly, but I am so happy that on his last day we got an opportunity to spoil him with all his favorite foods and toys and show him so much love. Dr. Ledain was so wonderful and allowed us to take out time and be with Doobie until his final breath. Thank you Heartstrings & Dr. Ledain for easing our pain.

We rescued a 12-year-old dog who had been left outside without shelter most of her life Cloudy was so grateful to get a warm, cozy place to live out her last few years that when she came to the end of her days, we didn’t want to put her through the turmoil of loading up in the car (which she hated) and being subjected to the vet’s office (which she hated) Heartstrings was a Godsend; being able to have Cloudy lying down in one of her favorite spots in the house while Dr. Ledain took the extra time to extend compassionate care was exactly what we wanted I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Heartstrings to anyone who wants to ensure the passing of their pet is a peaceful, humane, experience

The doctor was very compassionate and helped us through a very difficult process. We have other pets that seemed to love her medical bag and decided to climb in. You could see that the doctor really loves animals as she didn’t mind that our cat had moved into her bag. I highly recommend them for one of the most difficult times a pet family will go through.
