Dr. Vaughn was referred to me and he did a house call for my cat. The Dr was awesome and he was very knowledgeable , pleasant and helped get my cat feeling better. I will definitely be using Finksburg Vet in the future.

The post is from Christine and Chris. Last week, we unfortunately had to face one of the hardest decisions we as pet owners have to make. Our eldest puppy Kira (13 yrs old) finally was to a state we wished would never arrive. She could not take herself over the rainbow bridge, so we had to help her get there. Dr. Vaughan was our choice for this difficult day. He had helped us with our pup Dexter in Jan 2023 (Dex was also 13). In both cases Dr. V made the process much more tolerable due to his amazingly warm and caring way. We highly suggest his professional and caring services to anyone needing a veterinarian. He is awesome!

If you were to design veterinary care for your animals and wanted stress free, in home, highly professional, loving care, Dr. David Vaughn will meet/exceed your expectations. We’ve had, end of life care, regular check ups and now cancer care for one of our cats that Dr Vaughn is capably helping us with. It is what we as pet owners and our animals need to make caring for them the best possible experience. It’s improved my animals care (and my self care) in every way.

I am a cat person and had to take over care for my Mom’s HUGE senior Great Pyrenees. She was very gentle but had a mind of her own. She wouldn’t get in my car. I emailed the form and Dr. Vaughan got back to me right away and we set up a visit. Dr. Vaughan took great care of Lily and when she was sick there was never a time he didn’t get back to me. During this time I was also a caregiver for my Mom and he bent over backwards to accommodate my schedule. Dr. Vaughan is very knowledgeable and caring. He took great care of Lily. I am very grateful him.

We used Dr Vaughn for a cat we rescued and it was such a benefit to have the home visits. His care and concern was evident from the very first visit (on a Friday) where we needed medicine and he didn’t want us to wait the weekend so he went and brought it back late on a Friday. Even when our rescue “Storm” needs advanced treatment he had recommendations for us. We recently had to let our awesome guy go because his tumor was so advanced. Dr Vaughn was the one to help us with that so he pretty much helped us with Storm from start to finish which was nice for all the continuity and concern. He loves animals and it’s evident. He would check up on us and Storm. We elected to cremate and we got this awesome box of ashes and a cast of his paw print. What a special touch for us and our 11 year old son. We can’t thank him enough for all he did for us and our special rescue.
