We just moved into town and had our first visit at this location today. Our dog has TERRIBLE anxiety at the vet and the staff was exceptionally accommodating and helpful. From the receptionist when I first made the appointment to the vet tech and doctor when it came to making the visit work. We've had previous vets that wouldn't even try to attempt to look at our dog's ear infection unless she was sedated. Thank you Blue Paw for making our girl feel better and for making her feel welcome at the office!!

Used to love this place. Today I had a really bad experience - Had an appointment to get shots to my dogs - I was running late (this is totally my fault!) - but I did call and let them know, a very nice person was on the phone and reassured me that it was fine. Got there 14 minutes late, the person at the front desk (different person) - very quicky let me know that their policy is '15 minutes late and you either pay a walk-in fee ($15) or you reschedule". I tried to explain to her that I had called, and I was running late because we are leaving on vacation - and she just chose to argue with me and stand her ground with the company policy. - this is a tricky one - because while I do appreciate and respect the fact that she was enforcing company policy - If the place would have been packed (the waiting room was empty) - and she would have said it in a nicer way, I'd have had no problem at all rescheduling or paying their extra fee. That being said, the person that I had spoken to on the phone called me back, she was awfully nice and gave me a very well needed apology, and I appreciate that very much. Thank you! You are awesome!. Unfortunately by then I had already driven away and was looking for an alternative to take my dogs to.

My girls been going there since I got my 1st dog on 2018, when she got ear infection. They were the 1st vet that cured Lady. Ever since then I been taking 2 of my dogs there. The prize is always right.

Prices have definitely increased from what I have seen and heard from others as well but that is beyond their control. I usually stick to low cost clinics because I feel like they don't treat you or your pet like some price tag they can keep hiking up. I recently came into possession of a sickly kitten. I found out he has feline aids and is extremely under developed. They were able to provide the proper care he needed and it's only been one full day and his eyes look 75% better barely a trace of his third eyelid, his appetite has increased and he's way more playful. I only hope that he will grow more from now due to his growth being stunted :( Dr Rankin and the receptionist /vet tech were the absolute best I've dealt with in Kentucky and I will be recommending everyone to come here instead if you can avoid having to take your pet to a full service animal hospital. Thank you again and Peanut thanks you as well !

Friendly staff, good with pets. Some things are still costly due to the nature of the visit but they will tell you the cost up front. So, you do not ha e to do it. Otherwise, a good place to take your pet. On a side note, do not be a jerk or jerket if you are unhappy. Politely express yourself, settle your bill, and leave. It is insane they have to put a sign up like in my picture because or jerkaholics. You do not have to come back if you are unhappy.
