Big Island Mobile Veterinary Care

I brought my Great Pyrenees in for her initial vet appointment almost three months ago. I knew something serious was going on with her right hind leg so I specifically chose this vet because they supposedly offered mobile service in the event I had to euthanize her. She was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. The first few visits, the staff were friendly and accommodating given the circumstances. Once the vet was out on maternity leave, the staff became negligent and unsympathetic. I have been providing palliative care and had to wait three days for my pup’s meds and had to call back to check on the status as my dog is now severely suffering and the meds are the only way for me to help mitigate the pain. A few days ago, I called as it is now time to consider putting her down. I called asking if anyone can come out and did not receive a call back. I called a few days later upset and distraught and complained about not receiving a call back and the staff member who answered the phone refused to schedule an appointment and told me to go to a clinic. She did not even specify which one or where. The lack of compassion and professional misconduct was overwhelming. If I ever adopt another dog, there is no way in hell I would ever bring my pet here. Strapped for cash, the cost of service is unwarranted for the poor quality of care received. Do not bring your pet here.

i think all vets are caring people! i have gone to several over the years of having many various pets, especially Rottweilers. Took my recent baby to them, she loved it! ALL OF THEM were awesome. And on a business part, they were on time and fast. sadly others tend not to be (and sorry to the others) but its bad enough we go to the doctors for our health and have to WAIT!! Also with this day and age of watching our wallets AND living in Hawaii! They were the most reasonably priced!! can not be any happier to have found them! mahalo nui loa!!

Amazing doctor and staff. Dr Ansari did everything in her power for my baby Kailani.. I will forever appreciate her as my fur babies doctor, she loves her patients and clients very much. She doesn’t do it for the money, she truly cares about her patients and it shows. I will never bring them to another vet, I trust her and her staff with everything. My family is truly appreciative of Dr Ansari. Thank you for everything you do for us and the community. If you’re looking for a new vet, please take them here. True ohana.

This office is soo amazing 🤩 kind and knowledgeable! I had a great experience under a terrible emergency visit and they were outstanding to work with and very supportive of my emotional needs at the time . I highly recommend them !

Dr. Ansari and her staff are fantastic, compassionate, just wonderful. They have been there when we had to let our baby go, and they had so much heartfelt kindness, and they have been there for our new family members and treated them with the same amount of love as all our babies. I will always recommend Dr. Ansari!
