Wow. As a snowbird I had no vet in Florida when I needed one. We knew jagger was at the end of his days when we came down, but we thought we were prepared. But like most pet owners who love their pet we really weren’t. From the moment I spoke to Barbey and Ashley I believed that we were in good and compassionate hands. When dr. Helfer walked into our house you could feel his level of empathy. He is .outstanding. Jagger peacefully went to sleep with the full moon shining down on him . I cannot wait to place the care of my new rescue in his hands Pam ligorski

Excellent customer and "doggie" service. we have a dog who gets nervous at the Vet. Doctor was excellent and careful with our dog. His scheduler was helpful and even called our vet in Texas to confirm records. Will stay with this one!

This is the 2nd time we've used Dr. Hefter while in Florida. Our cat Ivo was a stray from Wilton Manors who "adopted" us in 2019. He's an indoor/outdoor cat. Both times Dr. Hefter responded within two hours of our call. He's very knowledgeable and scrupulous. Ivo got first class treatment. Our cat is not people friendly which speaks volumes to how caring and calming Dr. Hefter and his assistant are. For all the tests and treatment our Ivo received, the price was reasonable. Highly recommended!!

It’s taken me a little bit to be able to write this but better late than never... Dr. Hefter came out to my house in mid July to put my sweet girl to rest. I called him after getting some mixed feedback regarding my old girl. I needed someone to let me know that my decision was okay and that I was doing the right thing. My sweet girl was really struggling with a few different serious health issues and her quality of life just wasn’t there anymore. Dr. Hefter gave me his professional opinion and I am extremely grateful to him. He came to my house the same day I called, and made the process of saying goodbye a little easier for my husband and I. He spoke gently to us and walked us through the process. It was so hard to watch her leave us but I know we did the right thing. He stepped outside and let us have our final goodbyes with her which I greatly appreciate. The whole time Dr. Hefter was with us he treated my girl with respect and was very gentle with her. We opted to cremate so he took her with him and was extremely gentle and careful transporting her. While I don’t think anything can help with the sadness and the pain of losing your best friend I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to handle her passing. Although this was the first time I met Dr. Hefter, I felt comfortable with him and trusted him to take care of my baby. I would recommend him a million times over. So thank you Dr. Hefter for taking such great care of my Saisha.
