I take my two dogs here for regular grooming. Our OES used to be afraid of getting groomed to the point where we couldn’t even do it ourselves. Because we had such a good experience at Serenity with Carly when we rescued our giant schnauzer (she was very kind and patient and worked with her for several weeks until she was confident enough to get groomed), we asked if she would work with Tsuga. She said she would, and has been working with him ever since. He can get groomed, bathed, and even get his nails trimmed! He’s like a brand new dog, and this has translated to a much easier time at the vet as well! Carly is amazing, and I recommend serenity to whoever needs a groomer.

This team is amazing. Not only do they do a great job grooming but they are so caring and kind. For years we brought my elderly golden retriever to Serenity for grooming and they went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and not overtired by the experience. Now we have a new doodle puppy who is a bit to handle sometimes and Andrea has been an absolute wonder with him. They ease puppies into grooming so they have positive experiences from day 1. He looks amazing, smells great, and actually looks forward to going to the spa. It’s worth every penny to know my pup is in the best hands.

We’ve been coming to Serenity Pet Spa every three weeks for the last three years getting a full groom with the special, and they have never disappointed. We have three dogs, all three have been coming here since they were puppies. They’ve worked with us to make sure we have a perfect schedule for our breeds (two are chow chows and need frequent grooming, compared to our third, a German Shepherd) and have accommodated my schedule anytime an issue came up (let us come in an hour late when I forgot about an appointment, let me pick up after closing hours when I was working longer shifts for a product launch, and even let us get a grooming in on a Saturday when I had to abruptly leave town for work). One of our dogs can have aggressive tendencies towards humans caused by certain actions due to his bad hips. They have NEVER made us feel bad about this, they give us advice and updates on how his hips are doing during appointments, and take the necessary precautions to accommodate him at no extra cost. Our other dog is fearful of people for the first 10 minutes of meeting someone, and their newer employees have been amazing at patiently waiting for him to warm up to them. Our third dog is an obnoxious clumsy goofball, and they’ve always been patient with him. They know my name when I walk in, they know all three of my dogs’ names, and they know/remember my dogs’ behaviors and medical history better than our vet does! Not only do they genuinely love and care about our dogs, they do a beautiful job every time with the cutest bandanas (I now have a pantry full of them for each season and holiday). I would never go anywhere else.

We love Serenity Pet Spa East! We’ve taken all of our dogs (2 golden doodles and 1 lab) here for over 5 years and they get better and better every time we visit. The staff know your pets and family by name, they take detailed note of what you want in your groom and our pups are excited to go to their appointments! Prices are fair for the quality of work and they always have fun seasonal specials! Love the results, love the team and love that our pups love them too!

I'm sorry this is long but the care my dogs have received from Serenity pet spa has been so amazing I wanted to share our story. Both of my dogs are rescues. Our first dog Carmen we rescued ourselves when we found her tied up barking for hours tied to a leash with no collar, dog tags, and no micro chip. She was a nightmare to introduce people to in the beginning, she still needs time to warm up to strangers, but through training she's mellowed down a ton. I knew from the moment we got her, she would need to be professionally groomed with the type of coat she had. After talking to my vet about her behavior towards strangers and needing to get her groomed, they had proscribed meds for her to take before vet and grooming appointments. I didn't love the idea of having to medicate her each time she went to the groomers and when I reached out to Serenity Pet Spa, they told me about their rehabilitation appointments. Once a week for an hour she would go in to just hang out, get exposed to the environment and start acclimating to the process of being groomed. She has been groomed at Serenity Pet Spa for the last 2 years without needing to be medicated every time she goes in. I am beyond greatful to the staff, the groomers and Serenity Pet Spa for having the rehabilitation program and not giving up on my little girl.
