I really like this store. People are always kind to me. They helped me out once upon a time when money was really tight. I begged for some cat food, and they helped me. I did pay it forward. That made me feel great. Thanks Chow Hound. You will always get my business. 😺.

I visit this store often since it’s near my house. Clean store and well stocked, though sometimes they’re out of the speciality cat food that I need.

I give two stars on the simple fact that the employees are scared to deal with feeder crickets because they are bugs every time I go in and try to get crickets it turns into this big deal of rock paper scissors to who is going to get my crickets so immature

I was here at 1:30 on 4/2 and 2 of the the Guinea Pig cages had large water bottles that were completely empty, and many were almost empty. Also the water bowls in the parakeet cage were empty and their food was just picked over husks. When I gave the Guinea Pig one of the other water bottles he drank for 5 minutes straight. These large water bottles would have to be neglected for days to be empty. I’ve worked at Pet Stores and I don’t understand how something like this could be overlooked. I left without buying what I came to get because I thought that was unacceptable. We were the only customers in the store but the manager was busy talking to somebody about displays and the only other employee said they couldn’t leave the register. Who cares about your stupid end cap displays, take better care of the animals!

Love Chow Hound Pet Supplies. Staff is always very nice. They keep a great selection of dog food in stock, not always easy in this covid era. Being able to weigh and bathe my dog with no problems is a huge plus for me.
