Smoochie Pooch

My dog Winnie had her first regular haircut today, she’ll be 6months old on Monday. Megan did a great job. I’m very happy with her work. Unfortunately paying $124 is way to much for me, i’m aware of several other groomers in the area through family & friends and I’ll save $50 with any of them so unfortunately I will most likely not be back.

Amanda is an amazing cat groomer! She’s extremely patient and caring with our cat and works with us to make the sure the end result is what we want. We drive all the way from Crown Point to have her groom our cat. And we’d probably increase the frequency of our visits if Smoochie Pooch would offer cat grooming services in Crown Point. Hint, hint.

Theresa is our girl! She is amazing with both of my fur babies I take there! She is so sweet and truly has a passion for grooming! I HIGHLY recommend her! Everyone is so kind and welcoming at the Valparaiso location! Go pamper your fur babies!

Wonderful experience today getting my 13 year old cat a lion haircut. They took extra special care to listen to my needs when I dropped her off, were extra delicate with her old cat lady skin, and even texted me during to let me know updates and how she was doing. Can't recommend them enough for cat grooming! I've had my Persian mix kitty groomed before at a different company and she came back with rashes from too close a cut on her sides, but not Smoochie Pooch! Mikaela (sorry if I spelled that wrong) did an excellent job and when it's time for another lion cut or maybe even just a bath, we'll be coming back here for sure. Ten stars! ⭐️

Smoochie pooch has become very expensive, and they don’t do emergency unless it deals with the dog. How can the dog get there unless the owner is bringing them & if said owner is or has an emergency then that’s just crazy. Where as I do live my groomer and she does always do a great job with my dog Ava. And I do come from another state just to visit this happy place, but they dnt take anything less than a 24 hr cancellation, but if they cancel u as well it’s gonna still be a higher price too unless u bring that to their attention. Otherwise Ava is always looking and smelling good.
