SPAAWS Pet Spa & Mobile Grooming

Although the staff was polite, I was not pleased with the results. We brought two dogs, a Shorkie (Hazel) and a Terrier mix (Buster). We asked for them to be completely shaved down which they were. However, both dogs received wounds which appeared to have been bleeding. When we arrived to pick them up, some of the staff appeared to be concerned and the dogs we held in a room, to stop their bleeding I believe. I have pictures to upload but I don’t see an option to do so. I will not return nor do I recommend that anyone else do so either. If you look at the photos these injuries had to have bled. And I do appreciate that you delivered my phone to me but it doesn’t excuse the fact that both of our dogs were injured. Excuses, excuses. Any objective person can see for themselves from the photos.

I was really unhappy with my previous place Petsmart who would never take instructions and would poodle my doodle and I would get so upset seeing my Simba shaved off around his nose and I found this cute place on East Bay. Luis and his team are kind and they listen and understand and use good quality products making my fur baby smell so good and feel so soft and he is not traumatized with his grooming session and appears happy and playful. I highly recommend this place and their insta posts are so cute and entertaining as well. Every person there is really nice and knows what they are doing. Glad I found this pet spa.

i’ve been taking my goldendoodle here since he was a puppy. but Last few times have been an issue the last visit he got a full groom and they left the top of his head all crooked so I had to drive back and they try to fix it and it was still crooked and then they try to say it was his head no it’s not his head. I just left there today, Monday, October 21 I made the appointment yesterday for a mini groom. I always do the full groom, but I wanted him fluffy for the holidays. When I confirm my appointment, it said $75. when I got the text to finish paying upon pick up, it said $95 I was confused it added the $20 poodle fee poodle doodle fee. Which is understandable for a full groom & wasn’t stated for a mini groom. The Owner heavier set spanish dude kept arguing with me. it’s not about the money dude it’s about the principle of you guys leaving that out and tagging it on later. I wasn’t going to leave the groomer tip, but it’s not the groomers fault. Just know I won’t be back to this establishment again. instead of saying OK ma’am, you know I’m sorry, but the poodle fee applies to all grooms whether mini or full I’ll make an exception this time or whatever but he just kept arguing with me like who does that like where’s the customer service bro? edit. because he didn’t want to be called chubby. i’m not a racist.. haha i’m spanish just like you. and all the 5star reviews all happen to be spanish people? is that friends and family ? … as far money comment it’s not about the money or i wouldn’t be getting my dog groomed. common sense. its the fact that it wasn’t stated when i made the appointment. who likes hidden fees? it’s not rt. and the fact that you kept talking over me and kept on arguing is ridiculous. anyways good luck with your establishment…

Super happy with my visit I took my very terrified Dog to get his nailed trimmed with groomer Dominique and wow it’s like I got a different dog he went in shaky from not knowing the place to loving her he was excited and loving all over her despite just having his nails trim. I had expressed I had an incident with how long his nails were and I was concerned how quick they just always grow back from the previous groomers we went to and WOW the detail she put attention and got them very short even made sure all of them were Good to go without me asking and that alone made me feel so happy how she cared about what mattered to me as a pet owner and my concerns but even more so that my puppy gained love for her and wasn’t even scared at all to get his nails trimmed !! 10/10 would recommend ask for Dominique. Everyone working there was super polite even the front desk was attentive and friendly plus they speak Spanish ! Love it 🙏🏼
