I have been struggling to find a new groomer for a while now. Over time, my 12 year old Maltese had grown a couple “old man bumps” on his body. After two bad experiences (a bloody ear & paw) and a very expensive ER bill, I was worried about finding a groomer who would be able to manage his bumps… or at the very least, not shave them off 🤦🏻‍♀️ It was also very important to me that the groomer was kind to my dog (I’ve also had a bad experience with that before). My first experience with Luxury Mobile Pet Grooming was great. They answered my phone call promptly. The gentleman on the phone was very nice and he took the time to reassure me of my worries regarding past experiences. I was able to book an appointment easily, options as soon as 1-2 days from my call. They also use a SMS text messaging system for appointment confirmation and reminders, which I thought was cool. On the day of, I received a text message on their ETA and they arrived on time. Upon arrival, the gentleman was patient while reviewing the “old man bump” areas with me, then picked up my pup and went to work. The full service took 30 minutes (including a full shave down haircut). When I received my dog back… he was wagging his tail, handsome as ever and in one piece! He smelled great, had a cute bandana on and was free of any cuts, scrapes or shaved off bumps. The gentleman discussed how he managed to groom him safety while petting him in my arms, which shows that my dog trusts him. After going over his haircut at home, I did find that some of his hair was a little bit uneven in some areas but that was the least of my worries. My overall experience was wonderful and I will definitely continue using this company moving forward.
