The Pet Groomer

I was having a hard time looking for a reputable grooming place. Kept reading bad reviews almost everywhere about pets getting nicked or cut. I decided to give this place a shot. The young girl at the front is very nice, welcoming and was very helpful. I took my boy Duke who's a German Mix and was very matted and had heat spots which I didn't know about. The guy with the pony tail saw my dog and he was very nice. They didn't turn my dog away which I was worried might happen. They told me the price it was going to be for what they would need to do and got started on him. Picked him up hours later and was greeted with a new dog. He looked great, and I was even informed on how I can treat his heat spot. I checked my dog and he was unharmed throughout. I do recommend going here and will start to make it a habit to bring my dog for grooming more often. Thank you Pet Groomers.

3 hours into my 37 hour trip from CA to FL with my chocolate lab, I figured out I probably should have given her a bath before I left to help with the shedding and so she didn’t smell like dog for the next 3 days in the truck together. Happened to be passing through Bakersfield and called to see if they had an opening. Nicole told me they did so I stopped and brought my dog in. Could not have walked into a better sight unseen place if I tried. Entire staff was wonderful people and very friendly. My lab came out clean, freshly clipped nails, and smelling like a brand new dog. When I went to pay, I was told the bath and nail trim was on the house (for reasons I will keep between myself and the business). I am not sure what the cost was, they did not tell me nor did I ask when I initially called them because I didn’t care and they were doing me a solid. Took me a second to realize they weren’t charging me so I thanked them and offered to at least buy the staff lunch. They politely declined and asked only that I leave this review. There is a good chance I will never come back to Bakersfield again, let alone come back to this groomer to “get them on the next one”, but I am so glad there are local spots like this that take care of random strangers for no reason at all other than to be nice human beings. Thank you so much for taking care of my dog and getting her freshened up! This random act of kindness should tell you all you need to know about this place!

Max and Lola looked great after their full grooming appointment. Very satisfied with the service and the staff there are very friendly and welcoming. Looking forward for their next visit.

Everyone here is so nice and so sweet to my dogs. They do a great job with nail trims which both of my dogs hate. I also had my old dogs teeth cleaned… I’m totally ashamed at how bad they were . I thought it was hopeless bc she gets snippy and usually has to be muzzled at a groomer but they were able to clean her teeth!!! I was truly amazed!
