By far this was the best experience I've ever had with a Vet in Casper. Dr. James is a very compassionate, caring, and gentle man that truly loves what he does. The circumstances that we ended up there for were not great but he made the experience and visit very comfortable and relieving.

I first took my cat when 3 other vets couldn't help me. Second cat went a year or 2 later. He was absolutely amazing. He listened to what I had to say. Had follow up questions and ran 1 test and he had the diagnosis. 2 cats and 1 dog just got fixed. He truly is awesome. Can't recommend him or his staff enough.His staff is fabulous. Your fur baby is safe and loved.

Dr. James is heaven sent. His dedication to making sure that any animal that needs care receives that care, regardless of the owners ability to pay right away. He is not a greedy man and keeps the cost to the lowest minimal often times only charging for the price of the medication and the lowest charge for the visit that most other vets charge almost triple for. I don’t know what this town will do when he finally retires. This is one profound person not only as a vet but as a person. He has made it possible for me to actually afford taking my animals into a vet and getting them the treatment or care they need, that otherwise, I honestly couldn’t afford with any of the other vets here in town. Before I found Dr. James there wasn’t a single vet that would even treat any of my animals needs without full payment at the time of the visit. My dog had got hit by a car and 3 vets turned me away because I didn’t have a credit card or put $500 cash up front right then. It made me sick to my stomach that it came down to being more about the money rather than the fact that my dog was suffering and in severe pain. As an animal lover there is no way I could turn a pet away in that condition. I would’ve have had to put the dog to sleep if it wouldn’t have been for Dr. James taking him in right away after hours not a single question was asked about whether I could afford the cost for the dogs care. He didn’t charge me for after hours overnight or the next day care he simply charged me a flat rate that didn’t seem to me could’ve covered the medicine let alone all the time and care that it required. My dog is now 7 yrs old and only because this man truly cares for animals. I’m thankful for him and his staff, there is not a more caring staff anywhere else. I’m sure there is an endless amount of people in the community that would agree, this man deserves to be honored as a true hero and never forgotten!!!

If you're from Casper, you know how beloved Dr. James is to us! He is one of Wyomings National Treasures! One of the best vets in town and has taken care of all of my pets and family member's pets for years. Super knowledgeable and caring and you can tell this man loves his job. And Casper loves you for it Dr. James!

He has been my vet for over 13 years he took care of my 13-year-old miniature Dotson before he passed. Plus he took care of my daughters God parents Corgis all the letters that they had and plus my mom‘s dog he’s a really great bet he’ll even come to you if need to we get along really good . I still owe him for the last surgery he’s done on my dad‘s in Snoopy Tate . And I will pay him back and I ended up with another dog and I’m going to be taking the dog out to him to do is the best Vet that I’ve met !!🐶🐱 Plus I like his masters how it goes out to the side and Carol always like it
