Sadly Dr. Fox passed away a few years ago. He was top of the game. We miss him large.

When our horse died suddenly we called Dr. Fox to ask if he could do a necropsy. He said he was busy (out of town) and referred us to UW. He spoke with us about what it could and could not be and seemed genuinely interested in what had happened . He called us back to get more info. UW finished and sent us very extensive report and cremated our horse for $150. It was very sad and very upsetting.We originally called Dr. Fox as he has seen some of our other animals in the past. Three months later we received a bill for $75 for a consultation fee after hours. We called on a Friday at 10am. We thought perhaps it was a mistake so we called and he said yes we owed $75 for calling and asking if he could do a necropsy and what he thinks it may be. Save your money and just call UW in Laramie. He won't be able to see your animal but he charges to refer you. When you call his phone number be aware that it is a effectively 1-900 phone number. You will be charged to speak with him.

Very professional and willing to respond to emergency calls at any time during the day or night!
