If I could give this place -5 stars would. I’ve never had a worse experience at a vet hospital. We were there for five hours without any clear communication about what they were doing to my cat. We weren’t allowed to see her during that time, and the lack of transparency was beyond frustrating. The front desk lady initially told us we wouldn’t have to pay, but then the doctor came in, threw out a bunch of prices, and charged us $450 for injections and medication without giving us any real explanation of what was wrong. All we got was a vague “she has an infection.” That’s it—no details, no answers, just an expensive bill. To make matters worse, after the doctor told us this, we had to wait another hour before they were done. Then, they suggested keeping my cat overnight for $1,000! Are you kidding me? After everything, there was no way I could trust them with my pet any longer. This place is unorganized, lacks communication, and seems more interested in taking your money than providing genuine care. If you love your pet, I highly suggest going somewhere else. This was an infuriating, stressful, and overpriced nightmare. Everyone from the receptionists to the vets working there should be fired these people are scam artists disguised in blue scrubs and white coats. If your pet is sick you’re better off taking them to a normal vet who actually cares about pets and their well being.

Our 3 month old puppy was brutally attacked on the jaw and we had to rush immediately to this hospital for an emergency surgery. All the staff were very caring and loving for our puppy and answered all of our questions and concerns quickly and gave us all the things we need to take care of her. I’m truly grateful for the doctor here making sure she is cared for and stitched up well.

We had a good experience here. Our pup Jefferson was experiencing sudden, mystery mouth pain and we couldn’t get in to see our normal vet. We called this clinic and they said to bring him in and he was seen almost immediately. They recommended a full anesthetic teeth cleaning so they could properly examine his mouth and they were able to get the cleaning and exam done immediately. They were communicative and Dr. McHaffie called us after the procedure to discuss the findings/next steps. We came home with antibiotics and ultimately there was nothing too serious going on and the antibiotics cleared up whatever was causing pain. They were transparent about the cost and honestly it was lower than I’ve been quoted at our normal vet for a teeth cleaning. So grateful for how quickly they were able to help my dog. Jefferson is feeling much much better! I would absolutely bring my animals back for any urgent issue.

Great, friendly staff! My kitty baby suffered a severe topical burn from an at home flea treatment. They had her in and out with everything she needed, not to mention took us in at the butt crack of dawn! I will be bringing all my animals here from now on!

Dr. Goraya and his staff at the South Seattle Vet Hospital are fantastic! I have been there twice for two pet emergencies, first for my kitten and today for my dog. Dr. Goraya is an amazing surgeon, he repaired my kittens broken leg - who is now ten and still climbing trees, and today he had to stitch up my pups ear after a scuffle. Grateful for his skills and kindness and for his friendly and helpful staff !! Thank You SSVH!!
