We have been coming here for years for our dog Chuck’s care and boarding. We have always been happy with how he is cared for here. We recently had him boarded here for just over a week, and the daily updates and pictures were great! It made us so happy to see how he was doing and looking happy and enjoying his time.

The staff there were amazing! They got me and my husband's dogs in quickly and did a wellness check on both. They even suggested great preventative meds for both. Will definitely be coming back.

The past few days had been so hard as we found out our family dog was going to pass away at any moment. We had everything set up to have her put down at 2pm yesterday and just before paying for the services, she passed on on her own. Went in to buy a burial box from these people, and after waiting for 10 minutes for someone to put it together.. it was good to go, however, they handed me a clipboard and pen to create a damn account. How can I create an account at a vet office without a dog! I was so drained and heartbroken and I had to stand there and create an account to buy a burial box! Completely unnecessary. They need to change that. Whether it's their system or their way to get people's information, it needs to be changed. If you're gonna offer burial boxes to the public, don't require an account!

This review is solely based on the lack of Medical History intake. The PDF I downloaded from my VCA account recently, after our dogs had their yearly visit (Nov. 2024) are still inaccurate and missing pertinent health hx. During a visit in 2023 I brought this up to the assistants and had hx ready to document with them, they had me write down all facilities my dogs have been cared for to pull over all health history but on my end, this still hasn't been done. To accurately and appropriately care for our dogs, their Vet Clinic should have all updated history. I bring this up because although our Vet knows our dogs very well (and their hx), one of our dogs was seen by a different Vet (same clinic) about a year ago and had no idea of the multiple diagnoses shes had (one being pertinent to that specific visit). This example is why I want all hx updated.

When we put our boy down a little over a week ago, all the staff that assisted with it was so nice. We got him cremated and we got him back a lillte over a week later! Amor is the only vet I'll be taking my pups to here on out
