I have nothing but good things to say about BluePearl. I recently had to admit my 6 month old kitten to critical care here because she wasn't eating for a few days, had horrible diarrhea and appeared lethargic. We had tried everything at home including medications from her vet and nothing was working, so her vet recommended admission to BluePearl. The admission process was very smooth, the staff was incredibly kind and you could tell they took great care of my sweet baby. Communication was fantastic. I received multiple detailed medical updates about her status from both her primary vet during admission, Dr. Hon, as well as the overnight vet and the patient care coordinator. Upon discharge, she was back to her normal, energetic kitten self and more importantly was eating again! Yes, it was expensive, but I expected that, and didn't think they did any unnecessary tests. (Also, I strongly recommend pet insurance if you don't have it already. It's a life saver!) I was so scared having to admit her to the hospital, but felt very reassured by the entire process. Hopefully I never need to do this again, but if I do, I would definitely return to BluePearl.

Everyone was absolutely amazing! They cared so much for my precious baby. They are very thorough and I can definitely tell they want to do what is best for my fur baby. Her surgery is now complete and the healing begins. They have given my baby a long healthy life. I would highly recommend them.

I took my baby in after an accident being stuck under a fence. She ended up with traumatic brain injury and was very critical. They treated her efficiently and immediately and had a vet in their icu 24/7. I was able to bring my baby home and she has a long journey to recover, but she is already trying to crawl and stand and is improving daily beyond all expectations! They saved her life and I can’t thank them enough! Update 4 months later and you would never know she ever was in the icu or had a brain injury!! Happy and healthy fur baby!! Thank you again

The paperwork on arrival was reasonable. The medical aid took a comprehensive history prior to our cat being seen by Dr. Palermo. Other than the fact the Dr. Palermo talks at a rapid cadence which made it a challenge to keep up with her due to my hearing impediment, her care of our cat and explanations to us were compassionate, very complete, and informative. As a physician myself, it is easy for me to tell when another doctor is focused on diagnostic puzzle solving, which she obviously was. She covered all the bases and gave complete explanations of next steps with Blue Pearl and what she felt we should do for our kitty in the meantime while awaiting followup appointment with internal medicine for possible invasive CT and endoscopy. I and my wife were very impressed with the caring and compassionate care provided by everyone there. I felt that the expense was as expected and not excessive.

We have a cat (Blackberry) that was a stray whose back hind leg had been fractured by some dogs that had chased him. His poor leg was dangling, ankle area. We didnt want this cat who had been coming to our house for a little over a year and who we fed and played with to be in pain so we took him to BluePearl after some urgent care referral to have his leg fixed surgically. They did an awesome job on on getting it fixed and taking care of our little buddy who will now be another inside cat from here on out.😁😁 Now this is an emergency 24 hour pet hospital and see pets by priority as in the more fatal and life threatening get seen first and the wait is a good while. Now the cost may be just a little high for some, but they will take care of your pets and care for them. Thanks Blue Pearl for your help.
