Have been a client for 5 years with 7 different dogs. Unfortunately the quality of care has gone down significantly, and it's obvious they no longer care about the health of my animals. Also very bad about getting in for emergency situations.
Always take excellent care of my Mia! Quick to get us in and excellent customer service as well in all aspects!
Where do I begin... We needed a new vet since ours moved away. A friend recommended this place. Our dog was 12 years old. He was my brothers dog and we lost my brother back in 2018 so you can only imagine how special he was to our family. He went in on October 22, 2024 on a Tuesday for a new patient visit. Recieved a rabies shot and within 3 days his health rapidly decreased. He was fine before, just old, still had good energy. After his visit he just deteriorated. Lathargic, kept making a weird cough like he couldn't get air to his lungs. We called the vet back, explaining his condition on October 28, 2024 (Monday ) Icalled that morning. He could barely walk at this point and wouldn't eat, shivering and again just lathargic. They couldn't get him in until 2pm. I was also told that if I was that worried to take him to the emergency vet, which I don't really understand that was our new vet, that's who we are suppose to call. Emergency Vets are for after hours or on the weekends when your vet isn't available right? He went in that day and got examined. No blood work. They said he had fluid on his lungs and a enlaraged heart. They gave us medication for him that cost over $200.00. He was given Vetmedin 10 mg for his heart and a salix tab 50mg for the fluid on his lungs. They told us to come back in a week. Three days went by and he didn't progress at all. He only got worse. We knew something was seriously wrong. We took him to the Emergency Vet instead this time on November 1,2024 at 5am. After a couple of hours of tests, we were told he had lung cancer this whole time and was dying. They did X-Rays, blood work, etc. This should have altready been done at the vet. Why wasn't there blood work done earlier? The worst part of all this, he was suffering and there was nothing we could do. We had to put him down and he was gone before noon that day. Very tramatic expiernece on top of the trauma of losing my 25 year old brother. I'm only writing this review because I'm very upset with the way things were handled and so that this doesn't happen to anyone else and that they push for more testing and not let it go to maybe save your animals. They didn't do enough, they should have gone over and beyond, that's what our previous vet would have done. Even if we couldn't save him. At least, not make him suffer and give him medication that he didn't even need or possible just made him worse. Two days ago, We recieved a bill from them saying that we still owed 72.00 for medication. Not after over $600 with them and over $3k at the emergency vet. No thanks.
I can't say enough good things about this veterinary clinic! Every time we bring Luci in, she is always so well taken care of. The staff is incredibly accommodating and makes sure all of her needs are met. It's such a relief to know that Luci is in great hands. Highly recommend this clinic to all pet owners!
I went to get my cat checked for parasites, and they acted like they didn’t know what to do with a cat. I loved the young man that chatted with me before the vet saw us, but when the vet lady came in and saw my cat, she was just plain rude and acted like she did not care about me or my sweet cat who was just terrified of a new environment. My cat ran all around the examining room & the vet tried catching her with something relating to a ladder. That made her even more terrified. I ended up grabbing my cat MYSELF because everyone else was afraid of some small scratches. I do not tolerate people who discriminate against cats. They are someone’s baby. Do them a favor and DON’T bring in your cat…
