Rest in peace to my little rat friend that I had, these people did not care about my pet rat Remy. My boyfriend been calling them over and over for an estimate I don’t care I’ll pay thousands for her surgery. Why not be transparent if you can’t do it or not. Calling over and over for an estimate, well Remy gonna be put down now, her tumor got worse over the time we waited. Do not bring any small rodents here if you need emergency care bring it to CritterCare they seem to really care they even weight her in, check her temp, pet her and hold her. Here they made us wait minutes to get my little baby examined. They look disgusted to even touch her or anything. Don’t waste your valuable time if your pet needs care. Dr Rodriguez is an excellent veterinarian. To top it off she is kind & gentle with my pets like noone else. Her staff is always very professional as well. Also, very punctual.

For my first time it was a bad experience. I took my dog in for an emergency appointment due to my dog getting really sick. I show up and one girl just went outside and took a video of my dog to show the doctor never actually checking my dog. Then took 30 or more minutes to be actually seen by the doctor. Then when they brought us inside the only thing they did was weigh my dog and check her temperature. When the doctor came in she didn’t even touch my dog or actually examen her she just looked at my dog and said “it might be “ so and so infection but didn’t actually do anything. Only prescribed medication that the doctor was just to calm down my dog. They charge me for the 20 pills of both medication and only received 7 and the only thing they told me is “next time we owe you the medicine” instead of just giving me a refund or used what they charge me to run more test on my dog. Wasn’t until a couple more days later that I called to ask for a refund because they did nothing to my dog. I had to take her to a different vet because the service here was just unacceptable.

Great staff! Very attentive and caring when it comes to the pets, the prices are way better than other vets in Laredo and medicine for my cats was way cheaper. Dr is amazing and really cares when you have input about your pet. If I could give 10/10, I would. Love this vet and now bring all my pets here

I’m so disappointed at the care that was given to my pet. I went for a specific reason and all my concerns were not considered. I went because my dog has issues with his teeth and has not been eating and they just tell me here are some pain meds it’s probably his back. Bring him back in 10 days if he still won’t eat. Wow thank you.
