I want to start off with giving thanks to all of those at VEG. They were amazing. Took our dog in this morning at 6am and they immediately went into action. They were very knowledgeable about what was going on. Sadly we did have to put our Baby Boy Zero down but all of those workers were supporting and empathize with the hard decision both myself and my wife had to go through. Would recommend 100/100. Rest in Peace my baby boy Zero
I really trusted this place because of the 4.8 rating on Google but the truth is that the 2 hours I waited to get my dog treated for ear infection I was ignored. They were busy but they don’t distribute the work correctly from what I see, the “doctors” were eating pizza the 2 hours I was there. The lady doctor that was supposed to treat my dog was eating pizza very slowly because most of the time she was texting on her phone. If you asked me how many dogs she treated while I was there, I know the exact number. Supposedly, they made me wait because my dog was stable. So because that they think I have all day long to wait, but if I’m still paying don’t they have to provide the services respectfully within certain amount of time and make sure my dog feels better? No, you won’t get to see a doctor right away. You will have to wait 50 minutes to see someone. And no they don’t do just emergencies. They will take their sweet time until a dog with major issues comes in. If you really need help, don’t bring your babies here. This is not an emergency place.
When your pet needs emergency care, don’t hesitate at all to head over to the VEG on Central Expressway. From the moment we walked in until the time we checked out, the staff was professional and courteous. Our Vet was reassuring and we trusted her advice and guidance. Expect to pay more than your regular vet because it’s emergency care, but they are clearly itemize the services so you can decide what to do immediately and what to do with your vet.
My little dog had pneumonia from aspiration and the VEG team took the best care of him! They kept me informed at all times of any progress or concerns while he stayed overnight and were very transparent and communicative. I recently moved to the area of Dallas where they are located and it's such a relief to know theya re close by, should either of my animals need emergency care again.
Last night I had to make a very hard decision of euthanizing my dog, due to the fact that she was having severe seizures. This hospital has a very beautiful staff, they are very welcoming and also very kind. She was taken care of immediately and they treated my doggy as if she was one of their own.If I would’ve known about this hospital a while ago, I would’ve taken her here than any other place.. If that really was the case, I believe she would still be with us. I recommend this hospital 100%. Thank you, ladies for helping me with my baby I know y'all are going to see this your help was very appreciated. Rest in peace, Valentina❤️
