An emergency pet situation is always stressful. The vet staff took great care of my kitty on his final days of life. I felt they tried their best and showed compassion to my kitty as well as my boy friend and I. We sadly had to put him down but I know the team tried everything they could and made sure he was comfortable while he was in their care.

This doctor deserves this review! Dr Héctor J. Encarnación was absolutely amazing when we were unexpectedly losing our sweet baby boy Shadow. He took the time to answer all of my analytical and detailed medical questions without frustration allowing us to digest, understand and accept what was happening. He never made us feel rushed at all to say our good-byes. He had the utmost patience taking care of us and our boy several hours into the evening after he should have been home. His kindness, time and attentiveness during this time will forever be appreciated! Thank you Doctor for the love you showed us and our baby boy! ❤️ RIP baby boy

It has taken me well over a year to write this, as it has been incredibly hard to accept that my beloved Coco is no longer with us. Coco was my shadow, my sweet Yorkie, and the ultimate companion—my world. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to release her to Rainbow Bridge due to an untreatable diagnosis. It was the worst day of my life, and it still weighs on me every single day. During such a difficult time, the staff at MedVet Dallas were nothing short of compassionate and empathetic. I was overwhelmed with grief, barely able to process anything, but they were patient, understanding, and provided us with all the options we had, allowing us the time we needed to be with her. They gave us a special space to say goodbye privately and were a source of comfort in the most heartbreaking moment I’ve ever faced. The treasures we received a few weeks after her passing were some of the most beautiful and cherished that I own. I am so thankful for the team at MedVet Dallas, who handled our situation with grace and kindness. While it is still painful every time I pass by, I know a piece of my heart will always be there, as they helped us make the right decision for Coco’s comfort and peace. Despite the circumstances, our experience was one of deep care and compassion, and I will always be grateful for the support they offered us in our time of need.

I don’t know how to feel about this place. Unfortunately, I had to put my dog down on Saturday. On Wednesday, we called to get a price of how much it would be to have that done and get a nice private Cremation. We were told $400. When we showed up on Saturday, they got our dog prepared and put in the catheter and later a staff member comes in and tells us to pay $535. We explain to her that we had just been told a couple days that the price was 400. She went and said she was going to see what they can do, 40 minutes later another staff member comes in and tells us there’s nothing they can do. We have to pay the 535.00. The other option would be they give us the body back in a coffin and we have to bury our dog ourselves. We explain to her we were told it was 400 and if they could honor that and she said no because we spoke to a new staff member and she wasn’t aware of their new price change. I feel this place should have honored the $400 they told us. And give us back our pet in the beautiful box they give. Now we paid 373.00 and we are getting back his body in a coffin and have to worry about digging a hole to burry him.

Well staffed in all areas, from ICU to specialists. Best to review the notes taken by in-take staff to ensure accuracy and clarity down the line. Most everyone we came into contact with showed great empathy and care. If we are ever in the situation of needing emergency Veterinary services, we will be returning.
