Palmetto Animal Hospital

First time visit with my dog, Chloe. The staff were extremely nice, the facilities very clean, and Dr. Burnett was as good with the pet parents as he was with the patient. He took the time to make sure all questions were answered and that my Chloe was healthy. I highly recommend Palmetto Animal Hospital!

The entire visit was wonderful across the board. I went to check in and the lady was very nice. She took my number to call me and let me know a room was ready so I could sit in my car with my dog. Almost as soon as I got in, they were calling. The tech came in quickly and was very friendly. Dr Bruening was knowledgeable and informative. She clearly explained to me what my dog had (hotspots, a skin infection) and was clear in how he would be treated, what each medication was for, and she answered all of my questions. I was told of the cost of any procedure/injection up front so I knew what to expect when I got the bill. Which I thought was reasonable. Everyone was so nice and we were in and out in less than an hour. Well worth the hour drive for me to visit their office.

Emergency situation, new to the area, all other area vets were either not accepting new patients or could not squeeze him in and referred me to either Columbia or Charleston (what a long stressful drive that must be with a pet who needs emergency care.) Seen within a short period of time by Dr. Tice and Grace, Tech was the sweetest. All staff that we encountered were accepting and accommodating to him as a special needs 'Deaf' dog.

Dr Katie Tice is absolutely the best vet I’ve had. I’ve lived all over the country and was truly blessed to finally find a vet I love- in Florence! She’s caring, honest, and very, very knowledgeable. She took great care of my Penny and helped me decide the best course of action for her needs (surgery due to a large mass) Love Dr Tice and Palmetto! Everyone there is professional- while also being kind.

I’ve been coming to this office for about 2 years now. The service is amazing and all of my questions and concerns have been handled immediately. I love the fact that the office is clean every time I’ve come in to have Chili taking care of. Everyone is always so welcoming…especially Mrs. Karen. I will continue to bring my pup in and have recommended anyone with an animal that I know. Thank you for making our visits enjoyable. Christie Medley.
