South Carolina Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Care

So grateful to the staff (especially Sidney and the lady who made the paw print, I'm sorry I didn't catch her name) and doctors of this incredibly important establishment for helping make the passing of my sweet Rosie a little more bearable. This is unfortunately the 3rd pet I've had to say goodbye to here this year (the first was my mom's dog, the second a neighborhood cat) and though it never gets any easier to say goodbye, the compassion and care we have received each time makes it a little easier. The fact that these wonderful people were having to work on Christmas and still being present 100% means so much. Thank you for easing my concerns that she may have been in pain, and thank you for releasing her from her old, failing body. I will always be grateful to you all. ❤️

We were very concerned when our beagle child got sick over the holiday weekend. Thankfully the team at SC Vet Specialists and Emergency Care were available for help. Our nurse Charles and Dr Dietrich showed so much compassion to us and Lucky during our visit in addition to providing excellent care. So glad they are here when we need them!

We have used multiple vets during the last 17 years of pet ownership and by far South Carolina veterinarian specialty hospital is the best hands-down. Not only do they provide excellent care and are very informative, they are so compassionate about the animals. We are so fortunate to have been referred here and continue to refer others here as well.

My family and I unfortunately had to make the hard decision to put our childhood dog to sleep this past week. I want to thank all of the staff especially Dr. Dietrich and Ryan, who were so kind to our family during such a hard time! They were compassionate and attentive. They walked us through a hard situation while also listening to us talk and laugh about our sweet pippin. We were given as much space as we needed to make this decision and had lots of time to sit with our baby and give him lots of love before having to let him go. He was with us for 16 years and lived a happy and full life. Making this decision was awful, but im glad we were in the right hands and I knew our pippy would not be suffering anymore. We had a team of great people handle him with love and care and that means the world to our family because he was so special to us. We just got his ashes back and everything turned out wonderful❤️. We will miss pippin forever.

Absolutely LOVED everyone here. I’ve had to come twice here in the last few months and have had always had a wonderful experience. This recent time Dr. Clementson and her techs assisted with my pup. Such a wonderful, kind hearted, best listener, and compassionate vet. I wish I caught the name of the tech that helped as well because she was very informative, reassuring, and kind hearted as well. Each staff member here helped keep me sane as my pup was sick here. Thank you so much to the wonderful medical team and staff who helped me and my pup!!
