My Cat was recently diagnosed with a tumor with a poor prognosis. my family called The visiting vet so he could pass in the comfort of our own home. Michelle and Al were professional and caring. They explained the whole process and let us spend time with our boy before and after he passed.

Dr. Michelle and Al are excellent, top notch mobile vet. We have 2 out of 5 pets that absolutely will NOT travel well to a clinic. Her and her partner have been doing this for decades. They're extremely personable and nice, they also have a warmness about themselves. Feels very comfortable, our pets don't mind them and we've used them for the past several years.

Dr Michelle and Al have been wonderful with our 4 uncooperative cats for many years. The doctor is very knowledgeable and caring. I don’t know what I would do without them. It gets crazy here at times, but they roll with the punches!

After my long time vet sadly retired I was referred to The Visiting vet as we have 4 cats and 2 dogs and some with health issues I was glad to have a referral. However immediately after examining my animals or should I say “during “ the examination of 4 of my animals there was fighting and bickering between the husband and wife duo. As we were trying to gather information on the 3 sick animals- 1 elderly cat with chronic illness and 2 rescued puppies with worms and underweight another cat with extreme anxiety- all the DR and her husband did was argue. The DR was yelling at him for the entire 1 and a half hours. I’m talking degrading, demeaning and disrespectful behavior to her OWN husband who is her ASSISTANT. While I was extremely concerned for my animals she definitely was more concerned with her husband’s behavior than the actual animals and clients. I tried so hard to be understanding of her and maybe having a bad day. While I was left with unanswered questions and a few hundred dollars in medicine from her “stash”. When she tried to schedule a follow up exam for vaccines and I told her that I would have a discount cheaper through a family members work she was very cold and very dismissive. When I called for a refill of my cat’s medicine she didn’t respond. After a week I called and emailed. No response. By week 2 I got a call from her and was YELLED at by the DR because I had requested paperwork for the last visit to get shots for my dogs and they never sent them. Sge kept yelling that she didn’t get the emails or calls but that everything was SENT. I did tell her that she is speaking with her clients and that she is extremely erratic, which obviously only made her more aggressive. I told her that we all have bad days but that she can’t speak to me this way and to stop. She agreed to mail me the visit information and send my cats medicine. Living in NE Philadelphia there is not many mobile vets and there I decided that for emergency services I’d use a different vet and try to ignore the entire erratic situation and use for a yearly check. I tried to tell myself that she (THE DR) is a human who makes mistakes and obviously has issues. Worse than the lack of professionalism, cold bedside manner, lack of empathy and bad communication is the medical incompetence and not caring for patients! She never refilled any medication for my cats! And when I finally got her to answer she just said that she is NOT serving the NORTHEAST Philadelphia area anymore and hung up. These are cats who have chronic illnesses and only need a yearly check up and medication refills. I emailed her about this and never got a reply. DO NOT USE this DR. While I’ve just reported her to several health and business departments, NOTHING will ever be enough for the stress and pain that she caused me and my animals and my family. She only cares about $$$$ and definitely not her clients or her own family members! Very sad that she needs to retire and get some help. I’d rather take my car full of animals to Kensington Ave than ever have this completely incompetent person ever touch my animals again.

Never using this vet again. This is the second time they’ve come to my house and both Al and Michelle were bickering in front of us. Making a stressful situation more stressful. I chose to call them again this time for my cat who doesn’t do well at the vet. I bought a straitjacket for him on Amazon that I was ready to use, but they tried using the one they brought and he was not being very cooperative. So after a minute of trying they gave up and said this wasn’t going to happen today and that I would need to drug him up for them to try again. This was a complete waste of time. I could’ve called his local vet and asked for gabapentin and saved $65 from the house call fee they still charged me despite not being able to perform the service. I also want to mention how they were supposed to come on Friday and they ghosted me until the weekend. I should’ve just said the heck with them after that no call no show.
