Dr. Shoemaker has been incredibly helpful and supportive since we discovered one of my cats has congestive heart failure. She always took the time to explain my options and made sure my cats felt comfortable during every visit. Thanks to her care and the right medication, my cat is living a comfortable life despite his shortened life span. The team also made the transfer process smooth when I moved to Texas, even providing guidance to help with the road trip. I’m so grateful for the care and compassion they’ve shown, and I highly recommend this vet clinic!

The State College Veterinary Hospital staff provided excellent care for my senior dog, Tess, who had multiple health conditions in her golden years. I will always be especially grateful to Christa, Alyssa, and Dr. Shoemaker for their kindness and support on my beautiful girl's last day. Thank you all for your years of compassionate care for Tess.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that comforted me on November 19th. I brought my cat Knute in after he was hit by a car. Our GPS took us here, and we weren't even clients. They took us in anyway. They comforted us with tissues, water, a blanket and a box. They tried to find a heartbeat but it was too late. All of you are so wonderful and can't thank you guys enough.

Dr. Locker has been caring for our pets for over 25 years. Needless to say, if State College veterinary Hospital wasn’t any good we would not take our treasured pets there, and they are treasured pets.

I absolutely love the staff at State College Vet. Having a sick kitty is never fun, but they have been more than patient with answering my questions, helping get me scheduled, and figuring out the best treatments & way to care for my cat. Scheduling has not been an issue for either of my animals. The vet has always taken the time to hear my concerns and provide education, which I greatly appreciate.
