The care that we and our sweet Marco received was beyond our expectations. The doctor that assisted us was wonderful, so compassionate, supportive, and understanding. The pain from our broken hearts was significantly lessened by our experience with this facility and its staff. Thank you, thank you!

Our 12 week old puppy was brought here to be seen. A once happy active puppy suddenly was lethargic, drooling, not eating or drinking and yelping in pain just from being touched. He couldn’t stand let alone walk. The only thing done for him was extremely expensive X-rays and extremely strong pain drugs I assume to keep him still for the imaging. The imaging alone was $175 and additional $175 just to review them. No blood work was done, nothing was done to find the cause of his fast onset of illness. They went right for the most expensive tests and ignored all of the alarming behavioral signs. They robbed us and I believe they owe us an explanation for how a veterinary hospital could miss signs of a serious disease or a toxic ingestion. Five minutes of googling can tell us more about our sick puppy than a (insert curse) HOSPITAL. Do you have no one with a conscience working there? This place is a disgrace to a noble profession and cause. I’m horrified that you allowed this to happen.

We just had to bring in our new rescue pup Cosmo who discovered a porcupine while we were hiking in Lake Ariel over the Fourth of July weekend. Not being from the area, we scrambled until we found Northeast Veterinary Referral Hospital. Everyone was very kind, professional, and helpful. Prices were reasonable for a 24 hour emergency vet, and our dog is much happier and healthier. Thank you for taking such good care of our pup. It’s great to know that there is such a wonderful vet in the area for any future emergencies!

Northeast Veterinary Hospital saved our family. We had a house fire that began in our kitchen and we lost 4 of our beloved pets to smoke inhalation. Our 2 cats who survived, were rushed to the hospital, where they were treated with the best service in our area. If it weren't for the caring, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable doctors and staff, our family would have experienced a far more tragic loss, one that would have affected our children for many years to come. I cannot express our family's love and gratitude to Northeast Veterinary Hospital, and recommend them to any family who's fur babies are sick or have an emergency.

I will never, as far as I can help it, ever bring any of my pets back to this place. We had our puppy for 5 days, and being seconds out of eye shot, he ended up breaking his leg. I thought maybe he dislocated it or something, but we drove an hour away to the only place we could find after hours, and unfortunately it was this place. The receptionist and the techs were nice, but ultimately we found out he broke his leg. They gave him medicine, but couldn’t do a splint or anything because they “couldn’t find materials…” I was looking things up, and this is a fairly common thing in small dogs and freak things happen all the time, however, I do not know how this happened. I was taking him out potty, went to grab my jacket, it was dark and around 1:20 in the morning, and he just started screaming, limp paw and painful to even lightly touch. The vet seemed to have a tone asking if I have children, because accidents happen, and did someone drop him…everyone was sleeping. Anyways, the vet said someone would call me in the morning at 7:30am to see if they knew where supplies were…we left there at 6:15am. We were exhausted being up for at that point 22 hours, and it took us an hour to get home, so we waited. No phone call. They also told us we could make an appointment with a surgeon on Tuesday or Wednesday. So, make my poor puppy wait 4-5 days and just leave his limb dangling with no support and lots of pain, really smart. We went to another vet, who was informative, kind and FIXED the problem for HALF as much as it cost us at this place and he DOESN’T require surgery! Then for the icing, we got a phone call saying they “forgot” to bill us for his x-ray…we kept asking questions, we asked how much the x-ray would cost to make sure we were aware of everything. No one came back to tell us when they were supposed to. We paid the bill in full before we left, it is not our fault for your mistake and nothing but headaches from the treatment. 3 hours for an x-ray, medicine, and you couldn’t find supplies. And the medicine that “he got the good stuff” didn’t help him at all, so he was up all day/night, so no sleep for me in over 40 hours. I am just so aggravated with this place. The other vet at least called us to check on our dog not even 24 hours later…you call bc you want more money. Ugh! I do NOT recommend this place. Update…we did end up receiving another phone call, 3 days later, about scheduling surgery for our pup…originally we were quoted between 1,300-1,600 if surgery was necessary. On that call, the vet herself said it would cost between 5,500-6,500 for surgery. Here’s the thing, I hope they get to the bottom of situations like this, because I have absolutely no doubt in my mind, my puppy was sent home without any protection, to ensure it would get worse and require surgery. Then the ridiculous amount quoted on the first visit and then the phone call quote. Something is going on here and I will get to the bottom of it. Our new vet is amazing! She told us in a perfect world, yes, surgery, however, he is young and the way it broke, it should heal nicely and quickly. We are on week two of a splint, he doesn’t need medicine and except for potty training being slightly on hold, he is doing great. They called us the next day to see how he was doing! They care! This place just wants your money!!
