I have been here twice in emergency situations. Both times I have to say that the crews that were on were excellent. My first visit with a 10-year-old female Chihuahua ended in heart failure, but they did things to try to revive her that I didn’t even know are possible. So professional so compassionate. They sent a card that was signed by over 20 people. I just went over Thanksgiving weekend with my 4 1/2 month old Chihuahua. Winnie seemed like she ate something bad. Again the doctors and nurses were wonderful. We were met at the door and taken immediately. This place is so much more chill and modern than the university of Pennsylvania emergency room. I like the fact that you get to stay in one big room with your Animal. And when I tell you, I was there for an hour and a half- compared to Penn -my puppies other sister had the same problem a month ago, we were @Penn for 4 1/2 hours and the bill was double and I wasn’t with my Animal at all -it was horrible. This place is outstanding.👍👍👍

This post is long overdue. Thank you so much to the amazing staff at VEG for the work you do and for taking care of me and my fur baby Raspberry. I brought my cat into VEG around 6am because she suddenly lost all movement in her hind legs. When we arrived, it looked like it was only me and Raspberry so we were seen right away but I had to leave for a couple minutes to move my car. When I came back, her diagnosis was already made and the doctor broke the news to me. Long story short, the best and most humane option was to put her to sleep because treatment would have prolonged her suffering. The staff gave me a private room to enjoy my last moments with my fur baby and gave me time to grieve with her after her passing. They were so incredibly kind, gentle, patient, and compassionate with us through this traumatizing experience. Raspberry was privately cremated and 4 days later I received a call she was ready to be picked up. A couple weeks later, I received a card in the mail from VEG with little written notes from the staff expressing their condolences. I cannot thank you enough for everything you guys did for me and my Raspberry. Thank you and please continue the amazing work you do! As for cost, my visit was ~$1200 for an emergency visit, private cremation, euthanasia, diagnostic, and medication. I highly recommend pet insurance, I use Lemonade and was reimbursed ~$600. Hope this helps!

In early December I brought my bunny here at 4 am on a Saturday from an hour away. No local emergency vets were able to see her. Immediately upon arriving the team was waiting for us and began assessing her. Unfortunately she suffered a seizure shortly after arrival, became unresponsive and had to be euthanized. Throughout the 20 short minutes I spent here I was met with so much compassion. The staff made sure that I understood every thing that was happening and treated Ellie with so much kindness in her last moments. A few weeks after her passing, I received a card in the mail from the staff. I had already felt so much gratitude for the grace they showed Ellie and I on such a difficult night, but their card amplified it. I knew when I brought her in we wouldn’t be bringing her back and that her time had come, but I’m forever grateful they were able to bring her peace. The staff was knowledgeable and compassionate and I couldn’t recommend them enough.

Had a great experience here. The staff are friendly, helpful, and concerned. I was seen right away and they took precautions to ensure the safety of my pet, as well as, the other animals in the hospital. Considering the circumstances of needing emergency care I didn’t feel like I was being overcharged. The vet was very sensible when it came to the treatment plan and didn’t order unnecessary tests or imaging right away. I went back the following day without my pet to let the vet know about some changes in my dog overnight and she sent me home with another medication to help. It’s day 3 and my pup is doing much better and I’m very grateful. One of few ER vets I would recommend.
