DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT RELY ON THIS VET. They claim to be an emergency vet but have NEVER once returned a phone call regarding any of our after hours emergencies. They are greedy people. If you’re looking for a good emergency vet, keep looking. They give you hope in their voicemail by saying “large animals please leave a voicemail” but 100% will not return the call. These people do not care for your animals if they are not on a farm. Update your voicemail. Decided to edit my review since I can’t respond to you. Your staff has told us multiple times IN PERSON to call for emergencies. Your voicemail is misleading.

We had to put our best friend down. 🐾 We called North Winds and they got us in the same day. They didn't require any prior vet records or ask any questions. Everyone was so kind and caring and compassionate. They just visually made sure it was time for her to go and simply asked us why we made the decision. The process was quick and convenient. They took good care of all of us.

I have 2 yellow strays. Everyone was great there! Our girls ( or so I thought) little one, and buttercup, felt no fear. They had blood work done and 2 injections each. They never made a sound! Everything on the blood work were fine. The veterinarian was such a loving person. Well we were getting everything together to leave, had to think of names. So Tom & Jerry had an excellent visit. Thank you all at North Winds for making my boys visit a calm one,,I will have pictures in August our next visit .

I honestly cannot say enough great things about this place! I was having an absolute breakdown when calling every single veterinary office in the surrounding area, only to get pushed further and further away. My normal vets office couldn’t see their active patient for over a month, all emergency vets say 15-24 hour wait time (in the waiting room) and I was ready to lose it, until one vet said “have you called North Winds?” I figured why not? I’ve called every other. I googled the number and called right away. The phone was answered immediately, where I explained the situation and she said “one moment while I talk to the doctor about this!” And got me in, in THIRTY minutes. I brought my pup right in, and they kept him for the day, as he had to be put under for the procedure. They called me within a couple hours and said everything went great and arranged for me to come pick him up. When I got there to pay the bill I was shocked at how affordable it was!!! Best place ever! Before I left, I made sure to switch to them as primary care! 100 stars! Thank you so much for taking care of my baby Mordecai!

I’m so very disappointed with this vet. We have gone to them for years and have recommended them to multiple people. They denied my dying dog any vet care today because my fiancé had left a bad review. I feel that any vet that does this clearly lacks compassion for animals and should not be involved in veterinary services.
