Everyone there is wonderful. When I walked in, I was in a bit of a panic. (Our dog was having severe diarrhea and vomiting) and they showed such kindness to not just our pup, but to me as well. Special shout out to Toni for her patience and calm demeanor. 🙏♥️
Dr. Loiacono and the entire staff made the experience really stress free for me. My dog had a sever allergic reaction, they acted quickly and compassionately. Their experience truly shows in how fast they are able to make assessments and administer care. Grateful to have them in my neighborhood.
We brought Pebbles in to the Commack location for an emergency visit yesterday morning. She is notoriously feisty at the vet so we were a little worried about her being handled, but everyone on the staff was so amazing, kind, and patient with her. Starting with Jennifer at the check-in desk, I called 2x before we got there frantically and she was so sweet and had everything running smoothly for us when we got there. Dr. Nicole Dilevo is a godsend. I’d trust her with any of my pets, whatever the situation, no questions asked. I was so scared hearing that Pebbles had to get an emergency surgery, but I’m so glad that we were there during Dr. D’s shift. She THOROUGHLY explained everything, took the time to answer all of our questions, explained exactly what was going to happen step by step. She was transparent about the surgery, recovery, etc. The communication was thousands times better than any other emergency vet I’d been to. I am beyond grateful my friend recommended this place. The medical assistant working with Dr. Dilevo was so sweet and helpful as well and the woman who helped us check out at the end of the night (I can’t remember their names, sorry!!) Also, Ashley who was helping us when we went to bring Pebbles food so she would eat/bring her home. When you’re in a scary situation like that with your fur-baby, there’s nothing more important than knowing you’re in good hands. Pebbles has been with me since I was 14 years old and she’s NOT a cat that likes most people. Seeing how well they took care of her and understood her boundaries means the world to me. I am forever grateful to them for saving my baby
I brought my rescued feral cat here due to vomiting blood. From the time I walked in the door, I felt that I was in the right place. Everyone was so friendly, apologized if there was a wait ( due to the acuity of the animals coming in) it was a really busy Sunday. They took vitals while I was waiting to make sure my cat Murray was stable. I was invited in to be with him and talk to him while the evaluation was done. It was determined that he needed further evaluation and overnight stay. I had parked my car next to the building and left my emergency flashers on for over 3 hours, when I got to my car it wouldn't start. I asked the staff if someone could jump the car and Penny came out pulled her truck around and attempted to get my car going. What a wonderful human being she is. When we couldn't start the car so I called roadside assistance as they had better ability to start my car. While I was waiting, the receptionist told me to have some snacks and coffee or tea. Thankfully my car did start and I left there knowing that Murray was in the best of hands. The doctor called and gave updates , It seemed that Murray was a mystery. He had fluid in his stomach and they tried to pass a tube through his nose but couldn't, they were very diligent in everything they did and finally they looked in his belly and recognized that he most likely had stomach cancer. They gave me time to spend with him and make a decision has to how we proceed. And when I decided to end his suffering, Dr McGuigan and Tech Stephanie Filazzola stayed past their shift to be there for me and let me hold him when he went to heaven . I got to spend time with him afterward to say goodbye and Stephanie made a lovely footprint of Murray for me. You should be proud of your staff, their dedication their care and their genuine love for the animals they care for. I can't say enough about them, I'm just sorry I don't know everyone's name. You should be proud of the work they do, and as crazy busy as it was, they all worked professionally and with a smile. You are blessed to have such amazing staff , and I was blessed to have them take care of my big sweet boy. ❤️
This place is professional, clean, fast the staff as friendly, sweet and incredibly attentive. They saved my cats life and the next day I was able to take him home I can’t thank them enough for saving my baby boy.
