Veterinary Emergency Group

I came here with my cat Toby who was injured. Doctors from VEG did amazing job, with wrapping his wound and week later putting stitches! Thank you, Dr. Johnson, Toby is in perfect condition now. We came for stitches removal two days ago, and tomorrow we’ll take off the cone! Everyone from VEG, who took care of Toby was very professional, nice and caring, even our cat had felt it! I recommend this place to everyone who’s pet needs help. Thanks again!

We’ve been to Veterinarian Energency Group in Clifton twice. The first time my dog Molly was throwing up a lot and we didn’t know what was wrong. The staff did an amazing job of running different tests, keeping us in the loop, explaining all of the results, and making sure we were comfortable the entire time. The second time was for a really bad hotspot, probably caused by allergies. We came in because our regular vet was closed for the holiday. They treated us amazingly and we were honestly in and out very quickly. They cleaned the area, ran a few tests, and gave her medication to prevent infection and keep her comfortable. Some of the staff members we worked with were Dr. Lynch, Dr. Pierson, Charlie, Mel, Jackie, Cori, John, Deanna, Iman, Julie, Jodi, Jess, Dr. Dunn, Kiara, and Rob. Everyone here is genuinely so professional and compassionate towards the pets and their owners. We love the staff here and will definitely be recommending to anyone who has an emergency with their pet!

Dr. Pentavalli was the most amazing doctor for my babygirl Ruby. Ruby has heart failure and when I brought her in she was on the verge of passing. Everyone in their worked together and helped my baby they were so compassionate with me and understanding. They held my ruby and treated her like if it was one of their own and not only helped her but were so nice to me and calmed me down. Words can’t express how grateful I am for them. Amazing people ! Genuinely caring, thank you so much for allowing me another chance with my Ruby. I am forever thankful.

This place is amazing. My vet recommended I take my Husky Shadow here and I am so glad I did. He was seen right away turns out he ate something that got stuck in his stomach. We ended up being there for 2 nights and 2.5 days. The entire staff was extremely professional and very caring. I got to stay with Shadow the entire time and even got to watch his surgery. Dr. Lobana and Dr. Rothstein diagnosed Shadow. I asked Dr. Rothstein many questions and she was patient and compassionate in answering all my questions she also was the Doctor who cared for Shadow pre-op and post op. Dr. Dunn was the one that conducted Shadow’s surgery and watching her operate was amazing. Dr. Dunn was extremely thorough and it was evident that she has excellent Human Performance Safety Habits. All the nurses were excellent and you could see that they truly cared for their patients. The nurses made sure both me and Shadow were comfortable the entire time we were there. I also witnessed how caring they were with the other patients too. I often saw the nurses holding and petting patients in addition to giving them the medical care. Thank you to all the nurses who cared for Shadow and special thanks to Nurse Eileen who took care of him when he was the crankiest the day after surgery. Shadow is thankfully feeling a lot better and would like to say THANK YOU TO THE VEG TEAM!

We brought our precious cat Elvis in today as he wasn’t feeling well. The staff provided excellent caring service and treated our Elvis with gentle loving care. I highly recommend bringing your pets to Veterinary Emergency Group in Clifton, NJ.
