When we were in town staying at my son‘s house for Christmas, our 13-year-old Pomchow was attacked by a larger neighbor dog. We brought her here. They did x-rays and found that she had several broken ribs. They told us that she wasn’t gonna make it. They gave her pain medicine and made her comfortable. They were extremely kind to us and her. She passed before we could see her again. They brought her to us in a private comfortable room and we had as much time with her as we needed. The staff showed care and compassion. Not only that, but we weren’t overcharged in our time of emergency. A week later, my daughter received Daisy’s ashes. They were in a nice wooden box, and they included a paw print that the Hospital had made before cremating her. It was an immensely thoughtful gesture from a place that understands how much our pets are also family.

It's taken me a while to be able to write this review but I knew I needed to. We had to put our sweet girl down in October. It happened suddenly and we were unprepared, but she was having seizures and she was 18. It was time. We found this vet through a Google search and I called before bringing her in to see how much it would cost since it was so unexpected. They were nice from the get-go. We got there with all three of our kids in the middle of the night and they took us to a quiet room while they prepped our Roxy. They were transparent and respectful through the entire process and when it was over, they gave us her body in a nice burial bag so we could take her home and bury her. A few weeks later, we received a pretty card signed by the employees. It was a sweet touch. The whole thing was traumatic and incredibly painful, but everyone, from the vet to the techs to the receptionist, made the process as easy as they could. The receptionist even gave me a hug as we were walking out. Of all the places we could have gone to for such a painful choice, I'm forever grateful that we chose this one.

This place and all they staff deserve 10 stars! They saved 2 of our cats after our negligent vet exposed them to parvo. Everyone from the doctors to all the staff were compassionate and caring. They updated us everyday and we're so amazing every time we called and went into visit our girls. I highly recommend them if your pet is in need of emergency treatment!

This is a horribly neglectful practice. One of our rescue was taken in to be treated for Parvo and they released her 2 days later and she had pneumonia. Her discharge summary even stated she had a cough but they did no xrays or said anything to us. She had to go to another emergency vet and didn't end up making it because her pneumonia was so bad. I would NEVER ever recommend this place!

I’m so thankful for the care my Doberman and I received at Point East. After she was hit by a vehicle, the receptionist calmed me down over the phone and made sure they were ready for her when we arrived. Despite the wait due to a busy night, the staff was professional, compassionate, thorough, making sure each baby that came in was well taken care of. They did an amazing job, and i felt I paid a reasonable price for the immediate care of my baby! I appreciated being able to say goodnight to her before leaving her overnight for a procedure. Thanks to their care, she’s recovering well and resting at home. I highly recommend Point East for emergency pet care!
