The vet tech who discharged us went over everything with us in detail before we left so that we felt confident in the instructions to continue caring for our baby throughout her recovery at home. This one-on-one interaction meant so much to us during this stressful time. Our dog is also somewhat reactive in public settings, and both the vet and the vet tech described her as sweet, which means that she felt comfortable in their care despite her condition. We also never felt pressured to spend more money than necessary or to leave her overnight (which we were worried about the cost of). We were very pleased overall with her care!

This is genuinely one of the most wonderful places I've ever been with my pups. Dr Shawni Wall was so gentle and understanding when it came time to make a hard decision about my baby, Ethan. He was handled with care before and after his euthanasia by both her and the wonderful techs who took care of us, and my family has received numerous cards from Dr Shawni and med vet in support of us, and in memory of Ethan. Their support and generosity towards us has made our loss a little easier to bear. We got to cremate Ethan with assistance from them and bring our baby home to rest. This will be a place we return to without hesitation. Thank you guys so very much. ❤️

Came here for cat euthanasia due to advanced lung cancer. I found them extremely kind, compassionate, thoughtful, sympathetic, and patient. I don't see how such a painful process could have gone more smoothly. These people have the hardest jobs in the world, and it really seems like they understand how hard it is to say goodbye. We were treated very well.

Once more, our puppy fell victim to a rattlesnake bite, but thanks to the prompt and efficient care she received, she was quickly on the mend. The staff were incredibly friendly and compassionate, the facility was spotless, and there were plenty of peaceful spots to relax away from other animals. Not only did they come in under the estimated cost, but they also took the time to thoroughly explain the treatment process and what we could expect.

Dr. Whyte and the Med-Vet Asheville staff saved my dog’s life. They were caring and supportive throughout her 7 day stay. Oreo would not be here without them. - Thank You to Dr Whyte for being patient and discussing all our options. Without Dr. Whyte’s surgery skills, Oreo would not be here. - Thank You to Ashley for supporting us and keeping our spirits up. Her smile and spirit is contagious. - Thank You to the ER/ICU team Hannah, Olivia, Jess, Kaitlynn, Cinnamon, Taylor, Angie from Med-Vet Jupiter, Kristen, Sarah, and Kristy Rose who helped with Oreo’s treatment during her hospital stay. - EXTRA SPECIAL THANK YOU to Erica and Eric in the ICU who took care of Oreo the majority of the time and treated her like their own. - Thank You to Alana, Chloe, Walker, and Stephanie at the front desk for answering the phone when we called or just answering questions when we came in. - Thank You to Dr. Klos, Dr. Wesselman, Dr. Wall, and Dr. Sheldon from the ER for keeping us updated. We will definitely go back to Med-Vet for any future emergencies with any of our pets.
