Craig & his team are absolutely amazing. In less than a week, Craig took 3 different emergency calls for me & my horses. One time being at his clinic until after 9pm on a week day & another on a Saturday morning. He dropped what he was doing to help. I’m so thankful to have a vet & his team that care about the welfare of these animals. There are not enough thank yous in the world for East Slope Vet.
Twice we’ve had two dogs fixed through East slope Vet clinic and both times were having to take our dogs to a different clinic to have them fixed. Not a good experience.
Absolutely amazing and very fair pricing. Went in for an emergency with 3 dogs who got attacked by a porcupine and at 10pm they answered their emergency line and helpped us out. They were very nice, quick, and helpful. We are so incredibly thankful for them!
I made an appointment through the Humane society to have my 3 dogs spayed, and the appointment was for this morning, 9/17/2020. My wife and I arrived at 8 am this morning and waited for them to open. The receptionist was very polite and friendly toward us and our pups, as was the other lady, though I’m not sure of her name or position with the clinic. Our pups are almost 6 months old, and as our yard is very large, we do not often take them out on the leash, nor are they often introduced to people outside of our home, and even then they are very friendly. The weighing process went just fine, with some coaxing by me to get them on the scale. However, when Jolene Moore, entered and the choke leashes were handed to her, and rather than trying to coax our pups to follow her, she literally just dragged them across the floor, choking them in the process. The comment she made while they fought against her was, and I quote “You’re going to be leash broken by the time you leave!” Again, all the while dragging out pups across the floor. My wife and I made it very clear that we drove an hour to the appointment from Great Falls to Choteau, and the receptionist assured us that the appointment would be done around 12-1 in the afternoon. We figured we would have to wait, so no issues. My wife and I went and had some lunch and eventually ended up waiting in the parking lot in the truck until about 11 o’clock, when I decided to go in and ask how everything was going only to find out that they had yet to start. Apparently they had a bunch of cats from the Humane Society to deal with, not a big deal but I made the comment to the receptionist that it would have been nice to know, as we had been waiting in the parking lot. Jolene overheard this interaction and commented “That’s just how it works.” and I reiterated that it would have been nice to know and her response was “You’re more than welcome to take your dogs somewhere else.” I went back out to the truck and relayed the information to my wife and we decided to do just that. To Jolene Moore, please find another line of work if this is how you deal with people’s animals and if this is the kind of lack of professionalism that you bring to an office you work in. And just for the record, we walked into your office with every intention of giving every penny of the price we were quoted by the Humane Society, and will gladly give them whatever they deem necessary for the pre med; however I will not give any office you work in a penny so long as you are there. The way you handled our pups was disgusting and I will be contacting the Humane Society myself to tell them the kind of treatment we received from you, in the hopes that they will make a deal with an office that treats animals they way they should be treated; with respect and dignity.
I brought my Heeler in to East Slope one busy morning and was met by Jolene. She couldn’t have been kinder or more understanding. I did not have an appointment but she made room for my exuberant energetic Heeler with patience that was admirable especially considering her busy schedule. I was very impressed with Dr Moore and the entire staff. I read a rather unkind review directed at Jolene and I can only assume that person must have been having a bad day!!! I found Jolene then and in following visits to the clinic to be an asset to the practice and a pleasure to deal with. I give East Slope 5 Stars and I’m grateful to have them.
