Best Friends Animal Hospital and Urgent Care Center

My dog, Millie, got nothing but the best care here. She was brought back to life by the amazing staff and they made sure to give me updates on her progress throughout the night. I am forever thankful for the work they do and how they took care of my pup as if she was their own.

I wanted to share my experience experience with best friends hospital over the past few months of taking both my senior pups to urgent care. I first took my Husky Max there in June for some hip pain, he had hip dysplasia that was managed pretty well for his age. We started him on anti inflammatories, and he got better. Fast forward to October and he went downhill pretty quick, another visit to urgent care. We started laser therapy and he was really improving in mobility and comfort. The week after thanksgiving we rushed his brother Zack to urgent care. A couple hours later we found he had extensive cancer and a massive tumor that had ruptured his Spleen. We decided to end his suffering and let him pass with dignity. The following month right after Christmas Max found himself in urgent care once again. A couple hours later a very similar prognosis, bone cancer and multiple tumors. One large enough to impede his bladder., once again our family made a heart wrenching decision to end our best friends pain. The past few months have been extremely emotional. Best friends animal hospital and all their staff where nothing short of amazing. They were caring, compassionate, honest and understanding of the situation. We are so glad we found an amazing vet to take our precious pets to for years to come. I will also say their pricing is very fair. Every time we called we got in immediate and they always did the best they could to accommodate the situation.

Dr.H was awesome. She helped me understand my options and made me feel heard and respected. She was warm and inviting to engage in. She didn't just throw every high dollar option at me first.

Our golden, Norman, has been through a pretty bad experience prior to coming here. He was very fearful but now he walks in like he owns the place, and he loves the staff. They take their time with him to make sure he's comfortable. All of the staff is amazing, no matter how many times I call to ask a question, they are always kind and helpful. Highly recommend!
