It’s hard to actually see the Dr. The technicians act as “messengers” and you have to be firm to talk to the vet face to face. The process is so hollow. One of our dogs is getting older and has issues. I have care questions and the technician has to run back and forth between me and the vet. The price of treatment is communicated with each “message” and I have to give consent for agreed upon care each time without even talking to the vet and getting my questions answered by an actual vet?!? It’s not the technicians fault. I feel it is sad and unprofessional to put the technicians and customers in this position while the vet hangs out in the back behind closed doors. Banfied started this process during Covid over 4.5 years ago and has decided to stick with it. How convenient for them and not the pet owners. The plan has worked well for shots and teeth cleanings, but now that one of our pups is getting older and having issues…not so much. We have been on their pet care plan for approx 8 years and will not renew. Currently talking with other vet clinics in the area and ALL seem to do “in person” visits.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Please avoid this place if you value your pets life. I brought my girl here for just a routine teeth cleaning, about an hour later after dropping her off they called to let us know she was having constant seizures. Wanted us to take her to an emergency vet in ann arbor. The vet Kelsey told us our baby was brain dead, and they can put her down for us. Proceeded to offer us a free autopsy. We refused. Thankfully we didn't trust a word they told us and we decided to bring her home. As soon as we got her into our vehicle, she stopped having seizures. Got her home and about a half hour later she was up walking, eating, drinking, and went potty. Yet the vet advised us how brain dead she was and wanted to put her down?! I got a print out of everything they gave her and my new vet advised me that they were overdosing her, and that is what sent her into seizures. So thankfully we did not listen to them & refused to let them put her down.

Worst vets ever. Couldn’t diagnose what my dog had. Sent him home with no antibiotics or no steroids. That next morning had to rush my dog to emergency vet. Had to end up putting him down. They just took our money and that’s all they cared about. Please don’t take your fur babies there.

Horribly untransparent. We had a cat we were getting registered for ESA, so we just got some bloodwork done on it and checked for fleas with a couple medications we didnt need to prevent fleas. This all totaled to 700 dollars. The process was less than 1 hour and we didnt get the cat fixed. How on gods green earth it is that much I do not know. If they had said it would be that much we never would have gotten it done. We are broke college students and they screwed us big time. We asked very directly and they would not even give a ballpark number. Please do not bring your pets here. This is also not an emotionally charged post, this visit was over 2 months ago and I am still this angry.

We have been with Banfield for almost 8 years. When we pull in Harper gets so excited. Once parked she literally runs to the door. She loves everyone there as do we. TY for all the years of service!!🥰🥰
