Amazing! Showed great compassion and care towards us and our Daisy! Makes us feel a tad better knowing she was treated well in the end 😢 if your pet is in need of care i highly recommend them. They are great people!!

If you have the option to go to another emergency vet, I strongly recommend doing so. On two separate occasions, this clinic advised euthanasia for my senior chihuahua, and thankfully, I didn’t listen to them. Both times, she fully recovered after seeking care elsewhere. The first incident involved a dog bite. They claimed she would never eat again and suggested putting her down. The second time, she had pyometra, and they told me surgery would be pointless due to her age and that she had sepsis. They sent me home with palliative care instructions and said she wouldn’t survive more than 12-24 hours, again recommending euthanasia. Desperate for help, I took her to another emergency vet, where she received compassionate and expert care. She’s now doing much better. This clinic seems more focused on profit than on truly helping animals and their owners. I can’t help but wonder how many pets are unnecessarily euthanized here. I will never return.

On a referral, I called them late today and they were able to get my cat in tonight on a Saturday. The whole process only took about an hour and a half. Everyone was extremely kind, efficient and took good care of him. When I first arrived they took him to a different room without me, to look him over. After we discussed what we were going to do, I asked them to bring him back into me to wait with me and they did, no problem. 5 stars!!

Called because my cat was acting slow and lethargic. 5-stars on the receptionist who had empathy and compassion and provided the information needed to come in. After calling and waiting maybe 10 minutes in the parking lot. They had me come in. 1-Star because they brought me into a small room and said “you go here, the cat comes with me….leave his blanket” and so I’m thinking maybe they’ll come back in like 3 minutes? Nope, it was 30 minutes if silence and I had no idea what was going on with my cat. 4-stars because a vet (or someone dressed important) visited me (without my cat) and told me my cat had a fever and they’d be issuing antibiotics. She answered my questions but then left after like 5 minutes. 2-stars because then I waited another 20-30 minutes with no communication. I finally left the room myself and they were ready for me….like, what are the odds. 5-star because the receptionist was nice and helpful.

We have been to VESW twice for two different feline emergencies. Both cats were seen by Dr. Roux and had good outcomes. The first visit was during covid, and we had to drop our kitty off inside the vestibule and wait in the parking lot. That was difficult, but it wasn’t VESW’s fault—they were doing the best they could under difficult circumstances. We were given great advice with compassion both times, and our cats were not subjected to any unnecessary testing. We are grateful to have a resource like VESW so close to home.
