We have been thrilled with the care our dog, Bo has received at Mosel. The whole team is compassionate, kind, knowledgeable, and hard working. They take time to explain things thoroughly, and seem to genuinely care about the pets that come in there. We appreciate their follow ups to check and see how Bo is doing. I will absolutely recommend them to anyone! Thank you Mosel Animal Clinic!!
One of the best Vets in the area. Dr. B brings his west coast energy to the mitten and makes you and your pet feel welcome. Always a positive atmosphere and shoots straight. Decent prices too. Also, don't forget the techs, they're great too. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They also accept care credit and scratch for the people who may not be able to afford vet care right up front. I saw the posters on the walls in the exam rooms. I had to edit this because I mistakenly said they do payment plans. By payment plan, I meant they take care credit and scratch. Thanks you Mosel for specifying that since I hadn't made it clear in my review originally. I've been to plenty of vet offices as a former courier making deliveries and pickups and I can tell you. Mosel is great compared to some of the others when it comes to treating your pet well. Don't let the old building fool you, or the bad reputation from the former ownership that I've heard of. Dr. B cares about his clients and their pets. I'll always go there and will send everyone I can there. They are also very good at communicating with you. Explained every procedure and process to me as well as told me about how my dog would need extra care during her surgery because of her age etc. Very transparent about charges and doesn't throw any surprise charges your way.
My dog had a lump on his leg that we were 'watching.' It started to grow and the vet said he did not believe it was a lipoma and it had to go now. We scheduled surgery, three weeks later or so the lump was removed and biopsied. It came back as a low grade sarcoma, rare in dogs. The vet gave the news in the best way possible, honest but hopeful. The tumor may not grow back. It may grow back. If it does, we will have to make a serious decision about his leg. My dog is middle age, not old but definitely not a young dog. The vet gave me a lot of hope that IF we have to cross that bridge, this is what we would expect and he gave me reassurance about the procedure. He was knowledgeable and kind, and again, Hopeful. If you ever have to receive bad (to really bad) news from a vet, Dr. Buckley would be the one I'd want to get it from. A week before Christmas, I cannot express how much his kindness means. And he was definitely right, that tumor had to go asap. The cost for the surgery was reasonable, not as low as the previous vet but lower than most operating in the twenty first century. Lol. My only complaint, there's always something I suppose... I don't like the candle in the waiting room. I have asthma and I don't tolerate strong fragrance in a small area. A great vet experience, candle excluded. :-) I hope for many more years with this practice under the care of Dr. B.
Dr. Buckley is amazing in his knowledge and approach to whatever concerns I had when coming in, my dog passed and I went through them to get him cremated and was once again treated like family. God bless this place and it's staff!
Dr. Buckley was excellent with my dog Ruthie who spent her first 2 years of life in a laboratory. His vet assistant gave her a lot of attention and pets and I think my dog could have stayed at the clinic all day. They keep a very peaceful presence there and all staff is warm and friendly.
