Dr. Sheffield was excellent with Rahja and his broken toe nail. She promptly got back to me on New Year's eve and walked me thru care till the office opened on Jan 2. The office got me in that afternoon and got loved on by the whole office. Been taking my animals there for 7 years and have never been disappointed with the level of care and compassion. Thank you to the NVA staff for the care you gave our Brooklyn, during her final hours and over the years. We have brought our pets to NVA for many years, they always provide top notch care. Recently, our kitty Brooklyn fell very ill. The doctors working with her that day were very honest that if she did pull through, her quality of life would be poor. We made the unbearable decision to help her go peacefully. While they worked on Brooklyn that day ~ NVA was very good about keeping us updated on the measures being taken to help her, as well as caring and compassionate.

Dr. Sheffield and staff (sorry, I can't recall the names of the excellent vet tech and intern who attended) provided exceptional emergency care to remove porcupine quills from our dog Penny's mouth, snout, and paw late in the evening of March 23, 2024. We are not from the area, but Dr. Sheffield and and staff went beyond the call of duty to care for Penny in dire need and save our family's spring break. Everyone we encountered in the office was kind, helpful, capable, personable, and professional. Our family is so grateful! Thank you!
