Visiting Veterinarian

I have trusted Dr Melissa Connolly since 1993 with the care of my cats and my dogs -- cats and dogs have all been rescues adopted at ages ranging from under one year, to over 15. She has seen literally generations of my pets through "adolescence," adulthood, and old age. She is unfailingly responsive ,warm, and compassionate, and I've never had a cat or a dog who didn't welcome her visits happily. Knowledgeable and well--connected, she refers when that's appropriate or needed, but she has handled complex issues for many of my pets ably. When I moved from Cambridge to a suburban town in 2005, one of my criteria in "house-hunting" was remaining within her practice area. Longstanding professional relationships are too rare these days, but Dr Connolly's approach to her patients and their owners and her skill underscore the value of being a client of a practice like hers.

She is an amazing vet - super bright, experienced, knowledgeable and caring. Our home visit did not cost any more than our regular vet and was so much easier for my super-shy cats. She is a gem.
