North Louisiana Veterinary Center is hands down the best vet business I have ever dealt with for my pets. They are always professional, courteous, compassionate and show they genuinely care about our pets and their well being. They are extremely knowledgeable and have always helped our pets when sick as well as healthy and do a great job helping keep them healthy. If I could give them 100 stars on this review I would.

The staff has been great from the moment we stepped in the door until we left. They are all very friendly and you can tell how much they love the animals. We see Dr. Hernandez and have been extremely happy with him! He’s down to earth and has a wonderful bedside manner. We have a 12 yr old Doxie and are bringing another Doxie home soon. We have been very happy with them and I wish we would have made the switch years ago. ❤️

Dr. Colvin gave us a happy ending on a cold, rainy weekend when we thought we could lose a heifer and her newborn calf. Services was prompt, friendly, professional and amazing. We can’t thank him enough!

I've used this clinic for several years with positive interactions. However, our Golden Retriever was in boarding during the recent storm/power outage. She was with them for 4 days (3 nights.) When I picked her up and got her home I discovered she had numerous scabbed abrasions on her feet and elbows and a large sore on one foot. She also had several weeping sores on her throat/upper chest area. All of the food I dropped her off with was returned to me. She was dirty, smelled, and had crunchy fur as if she were wet at some point. Her happy demeanor was gone. Additionally, she lost 8 lbs. They noticed none of this! I immediately noticed her injured foot and a smear of blood against her cream fur when I got her home. I called to have her seen the next day and to address my concerns. At no point in the conversation did the vet take any responsibility for my dog's poor care. I had to specifically ask how her injuries might have been received only to have him blame humidity and her choosing to lay not in the bed. A dog is not going to repeatedly injure herself if she has other bedding options. She collapsed on her bed at home and wouldn't move for hours. And how does laying on a hard surface result in weeping sores under her neck? Did they tie her out somewhere? I also had to specifically ask how they overlooked her condition. The vet's answer was that conditions were a bit unusual with the power outage. I don't find that a good enough reason for how my dog was treated. At least they did not charge for some meds to help her heal in the meanwhile. No one apologized for what she experienced. All they had to do was call if they couldn't care for her properly, and I would have returned to get her. I’ve included photos of her feet/leg and a sore on her throat.
