I had to let my yellow lab Cooper (16.5 years old) go at the beginning of December 2024 one of the hardest days ever but very thankful for the Sweet Dreams team Dr. Quinlan and Mary for making such a hard, painful time into as peaceful of a passing as something like this can be. My family was all there including my 8 year old son and my 4 other dogs and they all got to say their goodbyes to my sweet Cooper in one of his favorite places. While I miss him so much and it took me a little while to write this I am so thankful for the team at Sweet Dreams they are truly amazing from the time you make the call to returning his ashes to my vet. Thank you Sweet Dreams you'll are a A+ organization and can't thank you enough.
I cannot explain how impressed my husband and I are with this team. Dr Mercier and Mary were incredible. Our pup was afraid or everyone and has always been so nervous with strangers. They weren’t even phased. I’ve never seen Zephyr get comfortable with anyone else so fast. They made one of the worst times so much less stressful than it could have been. I was truly expecting to have this be awful (not because of them but because Zephyr’s such an apprehensive pup). They were so calm and patient. They were professional and walked us through everything. I can’t speak highly enough of them. Every staff member I spoke with here was exceptional. They were so understanding even when I couldn’t get a sentence out between sobs. We had to reschedule last minute because my husband’s flight was canceled and they didn’t even bat an eye… on Christmas Eve Eve.
The kindness and compassion that we received from Sweet Dreams during our worst day will never be lost on us. Our experience with Dr. Akin and Kendra helped put us at ease. They were so patient and allowed us all of the time we needed with our sweet puppy Faith before we said goodbye. She was less than two years old with kidney failure so the loss was really difficult. Dr. Akin and Kendra sat with us, spoke to Faith as if she was their own, and loved on her. We are forever grateful to you both and Sweet Dreams for your professionalism and kindness.
I wish I never had to write this review. We had to use the service twice in one week. We lost our 17 years cat Topper and our 11 year old dog Lucy two days apart. It was one of the hardest weeks of our lives, but we felt so much compassion and empathy from the team that came to the house both times. It was such a better experience for our animals and brought us some peace knowing they were comfortable at home in their favorite spot. We did not feel rushed and it was on our baby's time. I can't say it wasn't traumatic but it was the best possible outcome to a tragic situation and we are grateful for Sweet Dreams.
We had to say goodbye to our 12 year old chihuahua mix yesterday and on one of the worst days of our lives, Sweet Dreams made it as simple and peaceful as possible. I called them after 6:00 when we got the diagnosis from the vet and they were available to come the next day. Our boy got to come home one last night and they called the next morning with an ETA and called again when they were on the way. The vet and tech were so warm, professional, and gave us all the time we wanted with our boy as we said goodbye. He got to eat a chocolate chip cookie and lay in my lap on our couch while he crossed the rainbow bridge. Our other dogs were also able to be with him which meant a lot to us. We wanted to bury him and they provided us with a nice bag for him to be in for his final resting place. We didn’t want him to leave us but I can’t imagine a better way to go out than that. Thank you Sweet Dreams for providing excellent care for us and our boy.
