The good dog was able to get me in a same day appointment on a Saturday to avoid an unnecessary emergency vet visit due to being out of town for the weekend. The vet was intelligent and explained everything she was doing & why. The rooms were clean & smelled good. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a new vet. If I was closer, we would go to them for all her visits!

Hands down the best experience I’ve ever had! I was a client with my German shepherd and Dr Alvey was the best choice for her and us! Now we are clients with my Papillion puppy and once again: the best choice. This team has made any worry I had just go out the window with their care, knowledge and ultimate hearts. Shadow, my very sweet yet mischievous 11-month-old pup, decided she was ready for a five-star dining experience—straight from the trash can. Her delicacy of choice? A women’s feminine pad. Classic Shadow. Cue my panic and a rushed trip to Good Dog Veterinary Care. From the moment we arrived, the team handled the situation with professionalism, compassion, and (most importantly) a straight face, which I imagine wasn’t easy. The vet tech reassured us with their expertise, while Shadow looked at me like, ‘What? It was delicious.’ They carefully checked her out, induced vomiting to remove the foreign materials, and ran scans to make sure everything was out to ensure she was okay. Shadow is back to her regular antics, the trash can now has a security system, and I’m forever grateful to the staff at Good Dog. If your dog has a taste for adventure (and questionable culinary choices), this is the place to go!

I am so thankful for the care that Good Dog Veterinary Care provided for my pup Nelson. This was my first visit after looking for a new veterinarian. The care team was very attentive and gentle with Nelson. They were also transparent with the cost prior to treatment. No unexpected fees and Nelson started to feel better soon after being treated. Lastly, I received a beautiful card from the care team with a photo that they took in the back. I am so pleased that Nelson looks at ease.. Thank you Good Dog Veterinary Care Team.

I was an out of town visitor and Good Dog Veterinary Care treated me like a like a long-time client. They were SOOOOO loving to my Giana Joy and fixed her torn below the quick toenail 🥰. The clinic even called me Saturday to be sure all was well with Joy. The staff terrifically shined in the many small welcoming things. This assured me that the vet takes care of the important thing- my puppy dog. I recommend this veterinary clinic to everyone. In fact I’m taking their TLC ideas home to my vet so he can improve his services in the small things: staff loved on my dog, picked her up to cuddle her as she was scared, great exam room w/ soft light, soft music & comfy chair; vet returned before treatment to explain what would be needed, cute goodie bag w/ info for Joy, info about the clinic & treats. I loved the sticker that’s a photo of Joy. OK … enough 😁
