Absolutely recommend! Our dog got sick over night and last minute they were able to squeeze us in. Listened to all our concerns and were really nice and helpful. Explained everything that was going on / what was being done to our fur baby and had everything done in a decent amount of time. Also not to expensive! We will definitely be back!

Horrible experience. I needed a CBC performed for our dog to continue her chemotherapy meds from our oncologist vet in Savannah. I called and spoke plain and clearly that all we need is exactly and ONLY a CBC performed for this reason. My request was accepted, an appointment made and we showed up. When I arrived, I repeated again I only wanted a CBC performed to the reception person, and to the tech in the room we were taken when we were being asked questions about our dog. The blood was drawn and CBC was initiated. The vet came in and looked over our dog - which was NEVER requested. When I went to pay, the bill was outrageous, and I inquired that much for a CBC test. I was advised the exam was the bulk of the bill. I rejected being charged for something I didn’t ask for. I was specifically clear that I ONLY wanted a CBC test performed and explained that our regular vets machine had been broken for over 4 weeks. I gave them the name of my vet also, so to be sure they knew my dog was cared for. The “office manager” came out inquiring if there was a problem. I explained that I didn’t request an exam. He then called Dr. Hodges out and she was rude and tried to say that it was GA state law that she HAD to perform an exam and that I had to pay for it. I advised her that I didn’t believe that excuse, as emergency vets do not perform exams before giving medical attention. It’s just a money grab for this horrible business. I was NEVER advised that an exam would be performed, nor approved it. I would have walked out to never be seen again. Dr. Hodges held me at threat for criminal activity for something I never approved and was blatantly clear that I didn’t want nor approve. Stay clear of here if you don’t like financial surprises burdened to you without ever approving !

I can not extend enough gratitude to this team who visited my home to give the service of my baby of 15 years to cross over the rainbow! Such respect, tenderness, love & patience. NO ONE wants to make this call but I was treated w love and compassion as well. She was top priority to them & extended us grace during this difficult time. Coastal Home Vet was so helpful with our foster kitten, Billy Bones. They squeezed us in on the same day even though we've never been in before. Billy Bones was well taken care of and we felt very well informed, especially about pricing and medicines. The staff were all super nice! The building was well kept and the exam room was very clean. He's feeling much better thanks to them!

We went to Dr Hodges when our Suki was sick and she was amazing. She thoroughly examined her and explained what was going on. Her bedside manner is great. She genuinely cares. We will continue to go to her as long as she practices.
