GoodVets South Tampa

I had an amazing experience at GoodVets. I went the first time to get my cat Foxy looked at for skin issues. The staff was incredibly kind and courteous and helped my stressed kitty feel at ease. Dr. Rubright was amazing she looked at and treated my kitty. They answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. The pricing for everything was also very reasonable and everything was discussed with me prior to anything being done so there were no unexpected surprises. I was so impressed I ended up bringing my other kitty Bella to be seen just as a routine visit, and when I brought Foxy back her follow-up we felt nice and at ease after the previous pleasant encounters. I'm happy to say my Foxy is doing much better and I'm extremely grateful to GoodVets and Dr. Rubright for the care and attention given to my pets and myself.

My dog Olivia needed a canine influenza vaccination by the next day at the South Tampa location which is very close to my home. I was able to get a same day appointment when I called at lunch. The staff and doctors were friendly and knowledgeable. They also treated my dog with care and kindness. My dog was calm and had no issues.

My dog is very much on the scared/anxious side of vet visits. Due to her past medical history, she is not the biggest fan. Dr. Johnson noticed this almost instantly, and made sure she could do everything she could to make my pet more comfortable. She recommends we only do the things absolutely needed that visit. To make sure my dog is comfortable and can start building a positive relationship with the vet. 10/10 Recommend.

I appreciated that they took my dog immediately because I was concerned that she wasn’t eating, but she had only missed a couple of meals and I wish they had normalized that. Looking back I think I was just an anxious dog mom and I don’t think they needed to do the amount of intervention that they proposed. It turns out that she started eating again on her own without any kind of intervention.

Staff was very friendly and nice with my cat, Tiger! They told me he's going to be a big boy and suggested they could do some vaccines for him, but were very understanding and not pushy at all which I really appreciated. They answered all of my questions and told me they have cats of their own as well. They even brought out a fresh litter box because my cat is a little brat and was making it seem like he had to poop but he didn't, he just made a mess all over the floor and they were so nice about it. I definitely will continue to bring my baby here, I trust them. Thank you for the great experience! 😊
