I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Wise and the entire staff at VCA Knowles Central! My baby girl needed surgery on her leg so my regular vet recommended Dr. Wise because of his many years of experience in orthopedic surgeries. As with any new vet clinic, there’s always a fear that they may not meet expectations but in this case, they far exceeded them. The entire staff from the front desk to the vet techs and the ladies at checkout were truly amazing, I could tell that they all genuinely cared about every animal that walked through their doors including my little angel, Luna. It’s been just over 2 weeks since the surgery and she’s been healing like a champ, her sutures were removed yesterday and another xray taken which showed that everything was on track for her to heal to almost 100%. Thank you Dr. Wise and everyone at VCA Knowles Central, you are all so wonderful!!!

Disorganized, unattentive, unprofessional, and INSANELY Expensive. My cat was dehydrated, not eating/drinking, and looked to be dying. There were what seemed to be 3 kids working the front desk talking about their social media accounts. When I explained that this was an emergency, they had me fill out extra forms before even taking him in (so they would be authorized to charge me more). Once he was brought in, knowing his poor condition, they didn't even put him on an IV, show me an x-ray....nothing.....but were quick to list out a laundry list of tests they wanted to run and worse case scenarios of a total range from $3,599 - $5,938. INSANITY!! The Doctor's second language is English, so she couldn't explain to me what was happening very well. Upon leaving my cat to be examined, after just authorizing the series of 3 tests (Emergency Exam, Urinalysis Complete, and VetScan Comprehensive Diagnostic Profile + CBC) which totaled $670 (I thought it was very high, but I was desperate), the employee at the front desk wanted to charge me the low end ($3,599) of their presumed worst-case scenario treatments with overnight stays prior to completing the preliminary tests. Once I was at home, I received a call from them stating that my cat had elevated potassium levels and was at risk of a heart attack. That he may not survive the catheter insertion or sedation but wanted me to give them the authorization to continue. With such a dire prognosis from Knowles, I considered euthanizing him but decided to pick him up instead and take him elsewhere. I rushed over to Miami Springs Animal Hospital and got right in. I showed the vet tech all the test results Knowles had conducted and they got him an IV right away and a realistic list of necessary procedures totalling around $1,100. The doctor called me in about 10 minutes later, my cat's bladder had been drained, he was on an IV with a catheter and recovering from sedation. He then showed me the bloody urine extracted from his bladder, an x-ray with a possible kidney stone and assured me he was going to pull through. They saved my cat’s life. VCA Knowles Animal Clinic Central almost ended it. Knowles didn't treat my cat's situation like an emergency and was ready to fleece me financially and had me considering Euthanizing my cat. I don't recommend them and don't know why they have such a high rating. One of the worst experiences ever at a vet's office.

My cat has been a patient at Knowles for years, and our experience has always been wonderful. I love walking in and seeing a puppy hanging out with the staff at the front desk. The team is always kind and welcoming. During my recent visit, Dr. Tawatao, in particular, was very careful with my cat and was genuine and kind. I hope he continues to serve the Knowles location.

very caring place. Got me an appointment same-day with a kind offer of free consultation. That is service that can't be surpassed. Kind receptionists, and I watched them immediately accept a dog having a seizure as an emergency.

My family almost lost one member. Louis, our gorgeous little cornish rex red and white baby. Thanks to the amazing Doctors, nurses, front end and office manager...really everyone he was saved. I cannot say enough of what a great staff this location has. My heartfelt Thank you. You all saved my sons best friend.
