Top notch staff and incredible bedside manner. We aren’t from the area and didn’t have a regular vet picked out. Before I get into the story of why, I would absolutely come back to Dr. Proctor and his team. We had to go to an emergency hospital the day before and our dogs condition ended up being very rare. We brought her into Dr Proctor for a second opinion and possible euthanasia. When we visited Dr. Proctor, he fit us in on a half day, reviewed her records and explained the difficulty of her condition. His sensitivity to my wife’s and my needs was beyond my expectation. He was prepared to treat her condition but respected and understood our choice to put our girl down. I don’t have words to thank him and his vet tech staff for how they handled our dog and us.

I asked for a pancreatitis reevaluation. House.of paws did the initial diagnosis, but when asked to do the reevaluation, to ensure that their medications had been effective, they ignored that and sent me home with pain meds. I'm busy, but as with all businesses in this area, I have to guide people to do their jobs. I cam to this vet with high hopes that they would do the bloodwork necessary to make sure this potential killer had been healed. The day of my appointment I'm called by the front desk and told that they couldn't do anything more for my dog after reviewing his records. Tonsave me time, they were tonsend me referrals and cancel my appointment. When I got off the phone I realized they must have recorded a different issue than what I asked for, I called back and they had misunderstood. How is this to save me time? Screw the time, my dogs life.could be in danger. To top it off, these referrals are not yet sent to me. Where is the care for the dog? I had already set aside time for the visit, now I have to make another appointment, with another vet, wasting yet more time that could be spent on healing my dog.

I’ve been going to Care Vet for many years as well as my mom and my brother. ALL of the staff at Care are the most compassionate vet staff I’ve ever dealt with. When I take my animals there, I know that they are in the most trusted hands. My dog Ozzy, who has since passed away, used to get excited to go to the vet and see the staff, and that right there, speaks volume to me. Thank you to all of the staff for being so friendly and caring but an extra thank you to Dr. Barajas for being so gentle and caring in helping both Ozzy and Jack (my cat), cross the Rainbow Bridge. ♥️♥️

Terrible they want you to be on time! if you are 5 min late they cancel your appointment and still charge you a fee $62.00 per pet .. I been on most of my appointments on time and they make wait more than 20 mins so why do they want us to be on time if they don’t take you on time seems they just need an excuse to cancel and charge you a fee without any effort plus They are very pricey. I took my pets to a place that my friend recommended to me in Tulare and they took them the same day that Care Veterinary canceled my appointment, they are very fast and very affordable price! they are very kind and professional, they care and show compassion for the pets is not about only for the money.

I love Care Vet Clinic! Their staff is kind, helpful, and is willing to ask the questions to figure out what is going on with your pet. I have had vets at other offices push me out and prescribe multiple things without trying to get to the root of the problem. I have never had that issue with Care and really think they go above and beyond to ensure your pet is doing okay. They always ask what more they can do for you, rather than pushing you out.
